The location of the Yanpan Mountain Observatory is more than 200 meters above sea level, and the surrounding area is 100 meters long and 4 meters wide, forming a circle of glass plank road. With its unique geographical advantages, it can directly see Yandang Mountain and Yueqing Bay Port Area to the north, the East China Sea to the east, and Yueqing Economic Development Zone and Liubai New Town to the south. The observation deck is divided into two parts, with a construction area of nearly 300 square meters in the middle, and is thoughtfully designed as "moon181" (i.e., Light Moon Cafe).

It is reported that there are now two viewing platforms in Yanpanshan Park, namely the Light Moon Platform (i.e., next to the glass plank road) and the Dawn Platform. The Dawn platform is expected to open on May Day this year, and a teahouse is planned.
It should be noted that Yanpanshan Park is open from 8:00 to 18:00, and the viewing platform is open from 9:00 to 17:00. You can also take a shuttle bus up the mountain at the upper mountain pass of Zhi'ao without stopping halfway. As the park is a mountain park, in case of abnormal weather and other unexpected situations, dangerous areas such as glass boardwalks will be temporarily closed. In addition, the mountain road in Yanpenshan Park is narrow, and it is impossible to intersect vehicles, so it is strictly forbidden for private cars to drive up the mountain, so it is recommended to use a public shuttle bus or walk to the tour.
