Bian Xiulan, female, Han, ancestral home in Heze City, Shandong, born in 1938, now lives in Shihezi University, Shihezi City, Xinjiang, bachelor's degree, associate professor, retired. Senior researcher of the art talent pool of the China Popular Literature and Art Research Association. He is a senior member of Zhongyi Star Calligraphy and Painting, and an off-campus counselor of aesthetic education.
In the art exchange activities between China and Madagascar, his works won the title of "China-Malaysia Art Exchange Envoy" in the Beijing Calligraphy and Painting Elite Works Exhibition.
Under the influence of his father, he loved calligraphy and painting since childhood. I participated in the high-quality class, advanced class, and master class of the Hexiang Painting and Calligraphy Academy, which made my painting skills improve rapidly. There are five directors of the Academy of Painting and Calligraphy: Chen Mo, Qu Hanshan, Ruoming, Ouyang Qingmo, and Cheng Huai, each of whom has their own painting skills.
During the master class, I was personally taught by Master Li Shubao, the third-generation successor of Qi Baishi, and at the same time, I was personally taught and guided by Master Cui Matthew, the successor of Qi Baishi, which made my painting skills improve rapidly, and my paintings of flowers and birds, landscapes, and figures have reached a qualitative leap. Worship Qi Baishi, Pan Tianshou, Li Kuchan, Xu Beihong, Wu Changshuo, Zhang Daqian, Xu Zhan and other masters, inherit the tradition, continue to innovate, form their own painting style, absorb the strengths of all families, in the high-level master class, won the third generation of Qi Baishi's successor Master Li Shubao issued a certificate of mentorship. He also co-organized advanced courses with the China Academy of Art and the Hexiang Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, and obtained a certificate of completion from the China Academy of Art.
Under the guidance of Du Yuguang, president of the Xiangshu Court, I systematically studied regular script, official script and line calligraphy, so that my calligraphy level has been rapidly improved, and I have inherited the strengths of all famous calligraphers.
