After Yang Hucheng and Zhang Xueliang launched the "Xi'an Incident", they were retaliated against by Chiang Kai-shek, imprisoned for 12 years, and finally brutally killed by Kuomintang agents in Chongqing at the age of 56.

In 2006, Yang Hucheng's grandson Yang Han came to a farm house in Luohe City, Henan Province, and the person he was looking for was one of the first people who harmed Yang Hucheng back thenYang Qindian

However, after seeing Yang Qindian, Yang Han smiled and said to him, "I wish you to live to be 110 years old." ”

In the face of ** who is not in the same sky as himself, why does Yang Han behave so calmly? As a Kuomintang spy, Yang Qindian committed heinous crimes, why was he not executed after the founding of the People's Republic of China, but lived to be over 90 years old?

After the outbreak of the Wuchang Uprising in 1911, Yang Hucheng decided to join the army to fight against the Qing soldiers.

However, a few years later, the achievements of the Xinhai Revolution were usurped by Yuan Shikai, and Yang Hucheng was unwilling to die for this man who tried to restore the imperial system, so he chose to retire from the army and return to his hometown.

Later, due to the ** movement of supporting Mr. Sun Yat-sen, Yang Hucheng was reused, and his status within the Kuomintang was also continuously improved.

But after Chiang Kai-shek took power, Chiang Kai-shek did not trust him because Yang Hucheng was neither a descendant of the old Chiang Kai-shek, nor did he cooperate for less than two years.

And Yang Hucheng has no intention of going further, just sticking to Shaanxi, and the two have always been inseparable.

In December 1936, the Japanese army was already preparing for a full-scale war of aggression against China with great fanfare, but Chiang Kai-shek adhered to the reactionary policy of "settling the outside world before securing the interior".

At a time when the survival of the nation was in danger, Yang Hucheng naturally hoped to send troops to resist Japan, rather than wasting his troops in a civil war against his own peopleSo he and Zhang Xueliang jointly put forward anti-Japanese proposals to Chiang Kai-shek many times, but they were all rejected.

On December 12, Zhang Xueliang and Yang Hucheng resolutely carried out "military advice" against Chiang Kai-shek in Lintong, detained Chiang Kai-shek, who had come to Shaanxi to supervise the war, and launched a shocking attack at home and abroad"Xi'an Incident"., and put forward eight political proposals to resist Japan and save the country, forcing Chiang Kai-shek to send troops to resist Japan.

On December 25, with the efforts of *** and others, Chiang Kai-shek accepted the six-point proposal of "stopping the civil war and uniting the Communist Party to resist Japan", and finally made the Xi'an incident become a peaceful settlement.

Half a year later, Japan brazenly launched a full-scale war of aggression against China, and the anti-Japanese national united front was successfully established, and it can be said that the Xi'an incident was the fuse that ended the 10-year civil war between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, and also prepared the necessary prerequisites for the establishment of the anti-Japanese national united front.

Chiang Kai-shek was forced to compromise while being held militarily detained, however, when he regained his freedom, he took brutal revenge on the initiators of the war, and the personal fortunes of Zhang Xueliang and Yang Hucheng were greatly affected.

In January 1937, just a month after the Xi'an Incident, Zhang Xueliang was sent to Chiang Kai-shek's hometown of Cixi, Zhejiang Province, to be placed under house arrest, and since then he has lived under the surveillance of spies and can no longer communicate with the outside world.

Of course, due to fear of Zhang Zuolin's power in the northeast, Chiang Kai-shek only controlled Zhang Xueliang and failed to do further harm to him.

But Yang Hucheng's experience was different.

Chiang Kai-shek first exiled him overseas in the name of "sending him abroad to investigate", and later sent Dai Li to arrest Yang Hucheng, who had secretly returned to China, and imprisoned and tortured him for 12 years, and the outside world never got in touch with him again.

In 1948, Yang Qindian was sent to the Geyue Mountain Concentration Camp as the head of the guard squad of the White Mansion, and the blood debt between the two was also foreshadowed.

Yang Qindian, who was 25 years younger than Yang Hucheng, was born in 1918 into a poor peasant family in Henan.

When he was a teenager, he was admitted to the teaching regiment of Xi'an Military Academy with excellent results.

The Kuomintang took a fancy to his character, and not only did not let him go to the front, but sent him to Hu Zongnan's cavalry team for training, and soon asked him to join the military command of the spy organization.

In the military command, Yang Qindian slowly only had money in his eyes, and then Yang Qindian successively served as the bodyguard of Song Ziwen, Kong Xiangxi and other Kuomintang dignitaries, and later in the past few years, he secretly did a lot of evil deeds such as collecting intelligence, kidnapping and assassination.

In 1948, Chiang Kai-shek arrested a large number of underground parties of our army in Chongqing, and Yang Qindian was sent to the White Mansion to guard the key criminals.

In addition to the Communist Party revolutionaries, Yang Hucheng, his two children, and Yang Hucheng's secretary Song Qiyun and his family were all imprisoned here.

At the behest of Chiang Kai-shek, Yang Qindian used various criminal laws such as tiger chairs and chili pepper water, causing serious personal injuries to Yang Hucheng.

In 1949, after the defeat of the Battle of Crossing the River and the Liangguang Campaign, the general trend of the Kuomintang had gone, and Chiang Kai-shek recalled the Xi'an Incident that year, and blamed his failure on the military advice of Zhang Xueliang and Yang Hucheng, so he hated Yang Hucheng even more.

So he secretly found Mao Renfeng, the head of the spy at the time, and ordered him to "kill a group" of prisoners in the concentration camp.

And this task was finally handed over to the four spies of the White Mansion, Wang Shaoyun, Yang Jinxing, Xiong Xiang and Yang Qindian.

On the evening of September 6, Yang Hucheng and Song Qiyun and their entourage were taken to the Dai Gong Ancestral Hall, and then the spy Wang Shaoyun inserted a dagger into the waist of Yang Zhengzhong, Yang Hucheng's eldest son.

At the same time, the spy Xiong Xiang also stabbed Yang Hucheng to death, and then, Song Qiyun and his wife were killed by Yang Jinxing, and only two children were left in the group - Yang Hucheng's daughter Yang Zhenggui and Song Qiyun's son Song Zhenzhong.

Song Zhenzhong is the famous "little radish head".At that time, he was only eight years old, and he was malnourished, stunted, and had an uncoordinated proportional of limbs and head under the custody of the Kuomintang, so he was called "Little Radish Head".

The story of his persistence in studying in prison was also widely circulated for a while, but the agents had no compassion for the two children.

Yang Qindian personally killed them, among them, the "little radish head" was strangled to death, and the death was very painful.

Speaking of which, everyone should also understandAlthough Yang Hucheng did not die at the hands of Yang Qindian, he was definitely one of the best.

So in 2006, when Yang Hucheng's grandson Yang Han found Yang Qindian, although he was over 90 years old, he was still very frightened in his heart, and he didn't dare to look directly at Yang Han's eyes for a while.

But in the end, Yang Han did not blame him, but left a gift and blessed him to "live to be 110 years old", what is going on?

In fact, this starts with Yang Qindian's meritorious performance.

After killing the "little radish head", Yang Qindian's life was not easy, although killing people has long been commonplace for him, but it was the first time he executed such a young child, so he often couldn't sleep at night during that period of time, and his conscience was greatly tortured.

At this time, 30 Communist Party members and cadres of the "Revolutionary Committee of the Kuomintang" including Zhou Conghua and Luo Guangbin were also imprisoned in the Bai Mansion.

Zhou Conghua and Luo Guangbin were both very good at breaking through the enemy's psychological defense line from the inside, and they found that Yang Qindian was born poor, and although the original intention of being a soldier was to make ends meet, there was still patriotic enthusiasm in his heart, and it was only under the influence of the corrupt atmosphere of the Kuomintang that he gradually degenerated.

It is precisely for this reason that they "influenced" him when they had the opportunity, discussed the situation with him, reasoned with him, and instructed Yang Qindian not to work for Chiang Kai-shek's reactionaries, but to choose to abandon the darkness and turn to the light, and stand on the side of the toiling masses.

Under the influence of the "Little Radish Head" incident, Yang Qindian finally underwent a transformation.

He not only often transmitted information and exchanged letters for Zhou Guangbin and others, but also deliberately extended their release time to provide them with opportunities and time to exchange information.

After more than a month, he won the trust of Luo Guangbin and others.

On November 27, 1949, when the liberation of Chongqing was imminent, Chiang Kai-shek realized his defeat and decided to evacuate to Taiwan with the remnants of the Kuomintang.

Before leaving, he ordered the revolutionaries imprisoned in the White Mansion and Dregs Cave to be carried out on a large scale“11.The "27th Congress" event kicked off.

At that time, Yang Qindian was so anxious that he was sweating profusely after receiving the ** order, he knew that the Kuomintang was no longer able to return to the sky, and if he was ordered to be a member of the Communist Party, he would be liquidated in the future, but disobeying the orders of his superiors would also be a death.

Just when Yang Qindian hesitated, the personnel of the Kuomintang Secret Bureau had already come to the Bai Mansion, and after executing 27 people first, they issued another order to let Yang Qindian be responsible for the execution of the remaining 19 people, and then left the Bai Mansion and went to the Dregs Cave.

At this time, Bai Mansion and Li Yusheng, did they let the Communist Party members atone for their crimes, or continued to act as executioners and made mistakes again and again?

Yang Qindian's mind was filled with two voices, and he was never able to make a decision, so he could only aimlessly patrol the door of the cell.

Seeing this, Luo Guangbin immediately started his work"The People's Liberation Army is about to take Chongqing, and if you don't let us go, I'm afraid it's too late to regret it."

Immediately afterwards, Luo Guangbin added"Don't worry, we will all testify for you when we go out, and you have done work for the Communist Party, and you will definitely be able to guarantee your life safety."

This sentence became the last straw that overwhelmed Yang Qindian, after getting the promise, he did not hesitate, he immediately opened the cell door, and told them that after escaping from the cell, they must flee in the direction of the back mountain, and never look back.

Seeing that Luo Guangbin and the others successfully escaped, Yang Qindian was still a little uneasy, he was afraid that the military police stationed near the Bai Mansion would arrest them again.

Therefore, he deliberately conveyed to the military and police the false news that "the People's Liberation Army has entered the city", and under his cover, all 19 Communist Party members escaped smoothly.

On November 30, 1949, the day after the People's Liberation Army successfully liberated Chongqing, Yang Qindian, accompanied by Luo Guangbin and others, went to the Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau to surrender.

Luo Guangbin also issued a written certificate detailing Yang Qindian's care for Communist Party members and helping them escape from prison.

The Public Security Bureau considered that Yang Qindian was nothing more than a dispensable screw in the military command, and that the crimes he committed were only acting on orders.

Moreover, he made up for his mistakes at a critical moment and rescued nearly 20 important party members at one time, so he decided to be lenient and no longer pursue his experience of working for the Kuomintang, and released him on the same day.

Later, the organization also decided to arrange Yang Qindian to work in the Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau, but he said that he was homesick and felt guilty, so he did not accept the organizational arrangement.

In the end, according to his wishes, the organization gave him travel expenses and let him leave Chongqing safely.

After returning home, Yang Qindian worked as a farmer with peace of mind, and when the villagers learned of his reactionary deeds, they all criticized other people, and his son Yang Cunliang was also affected, and he only got married at the age of 31.

However, at this time, Yang Qindian had already realized his mistakes, so no matter what happened in life, he accepted it calmly.

Not only that, since the 90s, Yang Qindian, accompanied by his family, has rushed to Chongqing six times and returned to the Geyue Mountain Revolutionary Memorial Hall to remember the martyrs.

Although Yang Qindian felt very uncomfortable every time he mentioned that unbearable history, in order to warn future generations, he still chose to show up to tell the story, tell his own experience and inventory, and introduce the heroic deeds of that era to young people, making many contributions to the propaganda of the revolutionary spirit.

It is worth mentioning that Luo Guangbin, who was released by Yang Qindian, later became a famous writer, and the red novel "Red Rock" came from him, and Yang Qindian provided a lot of help for the creation of this **.

Therefore, he was mentioned in Luo Guangbin's memoirs in his later years, and said that if Yang Qindian's merit had not been redeemed at that time, all the remaining 19 people in the Bai Mansion would have been killed, and it would have been impossible for the blood and tears of the party organization in prison to be preserved.

It can be said that Yang Qindian not only saved 19 lives with the light twist of the key at that time, but also gave himself security and obtained "rebirth".

In 2004, Chongqing also issued a new policy for "11The 27th National Congress of the Communist Party of China held a grand and solemn commemoration event.

In the bitter cold wind, 86-year-old Yang Qindian squatted and knelt in front of the martyr's tomb, he shouted "I'm sorry for you", and then burned the dead coins for them in tears, Yang Qindian's repentance can be seen.

And because of this,Yang Han didn't speak ill of him

Human nature is always complicated, especially in the thirties and forties of the last century, when society was in the most turbulent period, and the good and evil, crime and punishment in human nature were pushed to the extreme.

In this case, Yang Qindian was deceived and committed all kinds of crimes, but fortunately, he realized that he had lost his way and atoned for himself with practical actions for decades.

At the end of his life, Yang Qindian finally got the forgiveness of the victim's family, and perhaps, it was not until this moment that he really gained inner peace.
