Stahl Cranesystems SHW 8 series winch
The SHW 8 winch program is based on the proven SH cable traction program and is designed for heavy loads of up to 160,000 kg. It features a powerful lifting motor and a sturdy, low-maintenance construction designed for tough daily work.
Compared to cable hoists, the winch only requires some cable winding even under high loads, which makes its very compact design possible. For different economic solutions, the SHW 8 winch can use three motors with a power of up to 38 kW and a 1:6 ratio of the two speeds. For great ease of use, there are six lifting motors with a power of up to 98 kW with continuously variable speed control. All travel drives are equipped with a soft-start function as standard. Depending on the requirements, the SHW 8 winch can be equipped with a powerful frequency converter or individually adjusted speed. The winch program is available in explosion-proof versions for zones 1, 2, 21 or 22.
