However, for this Honda Monkey three-wheeled motorcycle, the K-Speed is only responsible for the Honda Monkey, and the three-wheeled part is someone else's masterpiece; It can be regarded as the product of the cooperation of two people.
The original intention of this car modification was that a customer took a fancy to the Honda Monkey Bomber, and he wanted a similar, but needed something different. In the end, K-Speed used a 2024 Honda Monkey 125 to modify it, and then found someone to design this side bucket, which took 4 months overall.
The reason why it took so long was that this customer required the fork to be tilted, the swingarm to be lengthened, and the exhaust pipe to be more unrestrained; And the whole needs to be low-key, suitable for daily riding. Therefore, K-Speed spent a lot of time on design and customization of some components.
Specifically, the fork and rear suspension are made with the studio's own Diabolus kit, but the swingarm is custom machined to ensure harmony with the body. The wheels retain the previous 12-inch size, but get a set of wide tires for a more powerful look, and also add hubcaps to the wheels to make the wheels visually larger.
The fuel tank of the original car was retained, but the seats and fenders were replaced. And made a new subframe, with a bit of a café racer-style seat. Although it seems impractical without fenders, it will be relatively more personal.
A set of mini ape arm handles is installed on the front part, and a new grip has been added to the handle mirror, which also looks a bit retro; The original speedometer is still in use, but a custom bracket is used to secure it to the side of the tank.
In addition, the headlights are made of LED material, and the turn signals are the studio's own kit; The license plate is on the swingarm, and the high-mounted exhaust is also processed by the studio itself, as mentioned above. Relatively speaking, the color scheme is relatively simple, mainly black and brown combinations.
The three-wheeled body section looks a bit larger than the Honda Monkey, and there is also a luggage rack at the rear of the body, and LED lights on the sides. And is the only one wheel that uses fenders. And since the body and body were made by this customer with two sets of people, the car will be modified twice by K-Speed in the later stage, the main purpose is to make the style of the whole vehicle more unified, such as using fenders and so on.
