From the late 90s to the early 2000s, many CRPG masterpieces were born, such as "Baldur's Gate 2", "Icewind Dale", "Fallout" Original, etc., and "Gene Made 2" is also one of them. Now that the classic fantasy RPG is back, a remastered version of Geneforge 2 - InfeStation is set to release on Steam on March 27.
GeneMade 2 was born in 2003 and brought to you by SpiderWeb Software. It is an open-ended fantasy adventure game that takes place in an alien world. The player takes on the role of a shaper with numerous life-weaving abilities. In the game, you can create tools, armies, and powerful beasts, and choose from dozens of spells, skills, abilities, and creations to achieve different endings. A rebellion is brewing, and it's up to you for these creations to decide to rebel against their masters, aid them or destroy them.
Players can jump into battle using melee**, ranged or magical attacks, summon variants to assist in combat, and use diplomacy and stealth to skip some combat. The remastered version brings new areas, quests, characters, and dialogues, a reworked UI and system, improved events, and more to suit modern gameplay. The game has nearly 90 areas to explore and more than 50 hours of gameplay.
The trial version of "Gene Manufacturing 2: Invasion" has been released, and Chinese is not supported for the time being, so you can try it if you are interested.
