Fast Technology reported on February 12 that according to CCTV News, there are still many major national projects in China during the Spring Festival this year, such as Chang'e-6, which will be launched this year.
According to reports, Chang'e-6 will go to the moon in the first half of this year and return after sampling, and will also conduct relevant tests at China's Wenchang Cosmodrome during the Spring Festival to prepare for the launch in the first half of this year.
The staff said that Chang'e-6 has arrived safely at the launch site in the early stage and has entered a critical stage, and it is necessary to ensure that the state of the probe is good during the Spring Festival, and every step is completed as planned to ensure quality.
The Chang'e-6 mission is more complex than any previous lunar exploration, carrying out sample returns from the far side of the moon to explore areas unknown to mankind.
Especially after landing on the moon, it is difficult and challenging for the probe to have the ability to take samples and take off independently.
It is reported that so far, human beings have carried out more than 10 lunar sample returns, all of which are located on the front side of the moon, and the far side of the moon is older than the front side of the moon, and there is one of the three major bodies of the moon, the Aitken Basin, which has important scientific research value.
The pre-selected landing area of the Chang'e-6 mission is located in the South Pole-Aitken Basin on the far side of the Moon, in order to discover and collect lunar samples from different regions and ages, and improve human understanding of the Moon.
