On January 25, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced the list of the third batch of national-level nighttime cultural and tourism consumption clusters (hereinafter referred to as "agglomeration areas"), and Qingyun Road Pedestrian Street became the only selected block in Guiyang City. 
The list is determined by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in accordance with the requirements of the "Notice on the Construction of the Third Batch of National Night Culture and Tourism Consumption Clusters", on the basis of the declaration of the provincial cultural and tourism administrative departments, aiming to fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, implement the relevant deployment of the General Office of the People's Republic of China on releasing the potential of tourism consumption and promoting the high-quality development of tourism, cultivate new consumption growth points, and promote the continuous expansion of cultural and tourism consumption.
Since the Ministry of Culture and Tourism carried out the construction of agglomeration areas in 2021, a total of 345 agglomeration areas have been identified in three batches, and Qingyan Ancient Town Scenic Area (the first batch) and Qingyun Road Pedestrian Street in Guiyang City have been selected.
The selection of Qingyun Road Pedestrian Street as an agglomeration area is not only a recognition of the effectiveness of our district in promoting the deep integration of cultural tourism quotients, enriching the experience of consumption scenes, and stimulating the vitality of the regional market, but also enhances the popularity and influence of Qingyun Road Pedestrian Street in the country, which is of great significance for leading and driving the high-quality development of the city's and even the province's night culture and tourism economy. According to the data, since 2023, the total revenue of Qingyun Road Pedestrian Street (including Qingyun Market) has reached 59.6 billion yuan, with a total passenger flow of 2204170,000 person-times. At present, there are a total of 540 merchants in Qingyun Road Pedestrian Street (including Qingyun Market), and the main business formats cover cultural and creative categories, retail categories, catering categories, and entertainment categories.
