Follow me and I will share some interesting stories and experiences on a regular basis to exchange educational experiences together.

After returning to my hometown to work in the county hospital for many years, I have always wanted to improve my technical level. Due to my busy schedule, I have not had the opportunity to pursue further studies for more than 10 years. In order to fulfill this wish, I applied to the hospital for a year of further training, and the hospital agreed to my request. So, I came to the most authoritative tertiary hospital in the provincial capital to study and improve my skills here.

After reporting to the department of the provincial hospital, I learned that my supervisor turned out to be my college classmate, and he was a professor, chief physician, and deputy director of the department of this hospital. I was a little shocked in my heart, after all, in college days, he was just an ordinary undergraduate, and I couldn't imagine how he could become a doctor of such status. However, I still met him with the mentality of having the same name, and heard the familiar nickname "Da Niu" in his address. After I was convinced that my tutor was my classmate, I felt a little inferior, but I shook hands with him and said hello.

My classmate and mentor told me that when I received the list, I was a little skeptical that it was me, because I hadn't heard from me for many years. However, he was very happy to meet me. Since there was also surgery in the afternoon, we talked about some past events while we had dinner together at noon. It turned out that after graduating, the classmate took a one-year class in a county-level hospital, but because he was excluded by the director of the department, he was determined to further improve himself. So, he was admitted to a graduate school of a well-known medical university, and after graduating from graduate school, he entered this provincial tertiary hospital. He studied while working, and eventually earned a doctorate and became the deputy head of the department. He also shared with me his experience of studying in a well-known university hospital abroad.

A classmate and mentor told me that he wanted me not to see him as a mentor, but to treat him as a classmate. He was willing to help me with any doubts and share his experience. I remembered that his academic performance was similar to mine in college, but now he has achieved such excellent results, and my admiration for him cannot help but be deepened.

The reunion with my classmates and mentors reminded me of my college days, the days we spent together. During college, he was nicknamed "Big Cow" among his classmates because he ate a lot and had a lot of strength. Whenever I hear this nickname, I think of that sunny and cheerful classmate. We have struggled together and pursued our ideals together. However, after graduating, we took different paths and gradually lost contact.

However, this training allowed me to reconnect with my classmates and mentors, and we regained our old friendship. During my studies, he not only helped me solve many academic problems, but also shared his clinical experience and insights. We discuss difficult cases together, exchange methods, and promote each other's progress. With his help, my professional skills have been greatly improved.

During the training, I not only learned a lot of professional knowledge and techniques, but also had the opportunity to observe many complex surgeries and cases. This tertiary hospital has the most advanced equipment and the best quality medical resources, and I was able to witness and participate in many difficult surgical operations, which was a very valuable experience to improve my technical level.

During my fellowship, my abilities developed tremendously. Through the communication and guidance with my classmates and mentors, I not only deepened my understanding of the disease, but also mastered some advanced methods and techniques. These experiences and skills will have a significant impact on my future clinical work.

The process of further education is not only the learning of professional knowledge and the improvement of skills, but also the process of inner growth. Through the communication and interaction with my classmates and mentors, I learned a lot of wisdom from him. His humility, diligence and dedication have all influenced me deeply. He was always happy to share his experience and encouraged me to keep striving for improvement. In him, I saw the qualities and attitudes that a good doctor should have, which made me more determined in my goals and pursuits.

In addition, I have met many excellent doctors and peers. They come from different places and have different professional backgrounds, but we all share a common love and pursuit of medicine. Communicating with them not only broadened my horizons, but also deeply felt the importance of teamwork. This experience has taught me that only by learning from others and collaborating with each other can I continuously improve myself and provide better medical care to patients.

After completing my training, I returned to my hometown county hospital with new knowledge and skills. After one year of further study, I obtained the title of deputy director of the department and senior technical title, which also improved my status in the hospital. During my time back in my hometown, I will continue to apply the knowledge and skills I have learned during my training to provide better medical care to patients.

After returning to my hometown, I also re-examined my identity as a doctor. I no longer limit myself to the pressure of titles and titles, but treat each patient with care. I will be more conscientious and provide more humane medical services to help every patient regain their health.

This experience meant a lot to me. Re-encountering my university classmates and mentors not only allowed me to learn a lot of professional knowledge and skills, but also allowed me to rediscover my passion and pursuit of medicine. Through communication and sharing with my peers, I have not only improved my skills, but also grown more mentally.

I know that there is no end to medical skills, and only by continuing to study and learn can we keep up with the development and progress of medicine. I will continue to work hard to improve my professional level and give patients better results and experience. At the same time, I also look forward to becoming an excellent doctor like my classmates and mentors in the future, and making greater contributions to the medical career with my own practical actions.
