Albania used to be the target of China's free donation of 10 billion yuan in relief funds, but after China stopped its aid program, the country frequently launched hostile acts against China. The once-impoverished country has risen to the ranks of developed countries with the help of China, and has been hailed as a stronger friendly partner than Pakistan, but in the end, it has completely turned its back on its once precious friendship overnight.

In the sixties and seventies of the 20th century, for the rapid rise of the fraternal countries, China provided Albania with a large number of interest-free loans, infrastructure construction assistance, exquisite equipment, daily necessities, sufficient food, and all kinds of cutting-edge technology, as long as China has resources, Albania can enjoy. However, in the face of China's selfless assistance, Albanians have not shown the gratitude they deserve, instead taking these gifts for granted. To make matters worse, they have since sought new assistance from China, like a hungry wolf that can never be satisfied, and has been frantically exploiting and plundering in the meantime.

Thanks to the hard work of Chinese workers, many military bases, factories and other infrastructure facilities have been built in Albania to ensure the country's national defense and security and rapid economic development. With China's assistance, Albania's overall strength and living standards have improved rapidly, and it has gradually become one of the developed countries.

However, it turns out that such a strategy has ultimately been exchanged for hostile provocations by Albania, so how did China and Afghanistan get to this point?

Albania has become a "blood-sucking parasite", relying on China's supplies to meet its own food and drink needs, while at the same time pointing fingers at China's development and forcibly intervening. The Azerbaijani side has brazenly demanded as much as 5 billion yuan in aid funds from China, undoubtedly regarding China as the main wrongdoer, and they have made wanton accusations against China in words, but behind the scenes they have stretched out their hands to beg.

In the face of this situation, although our country has given one billion yuan in aid out of goodwill or generosity, Albania, which is accustomed to food and clothing, has seen that we have not met the five billion aid funds they demanded, so it is angry and deliberately attacking and slandering our country in the international arena.

By 1977, when the friendly relations between China and Yugoslavia had deepened, Albania was alone and helpless due to the rupture of relations between the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia, and they were even more angry and jealous when they saw Yugoslavia visiting our country. At this time, the leader of Albania, Gregor Shehu, began to openly and comprehensively deny our country, confronting it at all costs. In the face of the projects that my country supports, Albania has also unceremoniously challenged and maliciously embarrassed.

Therefore, in 1978, my country decided to suspend all Albania-related assistance projects and to withdraw all personnel to the country. In addition, all assistance projects were immediately suspended. Although Albania was once a friend of the People's Republic of China, it has maintained friendship at the level of envoys in foreign affairs. According to statistics, from 1954 to 1978, China provided more than 10 billion yuan in economic assistance to Albania.

Since the break with China, Albania's domestic economic situation has deteriorated rapidly, even triggering an internal political upheaval, which was finally quelled by the intervention of NATO forces. In response to China's decision to terminate all assistance and no longer intend to provide continued assistance to Albania, Shehu has wantonly slandered China on international occasions and even deliberately tried to sow discord between China and other countries. When it comes to conflicts of interest, Albania always tries to get the best out of it, looking for every opportunity to pick quarrels and provoke trouble.

Albania's economic situation has declined dramatically since the country stopped providing any assistance, and the country's citizens have shifted from a life of prosperity to self-sufficiency, but it has not been able to reverse the shrinking decline of the Albanian economy. After all, in this world, Albania has tense relations with almost all countries, and no country wants to actively establish friendly relations with it. Today, although the two countries are not as closely connected as they once were, and they are not politically in the same camp, they can still be considered important partners in the Belt and Road Initiative.
