On the morning of January 31, as Wuxi citizens poured into Jiangyin Bund subway station, the Wuxi-Jiangyin intercity rail transit project (referred to as Xicheng S1 line) participated by China Railway Electrification Bureau Company was officially opened for passenger operation.
Xicheng S1 Line starts from Jiangyin Bund Station and ends at Yanqiao Station of Wuxi Huishan District Metro Line 1, with a total length of 304 kilometers with 9 stations. China Railway Electrification Bureau No. 1 Company is mainly responsible for the procurement, installation, commissioning, joint debugging and acceptance of equipment and materials for the second bid section of the power supply system of the project.
In the construction of the project, the project department has always adhered to the electrification tradition of "promoting innovation and striving for first-class", actively overcame the influence of factors such as short construction period, heavy tasks, multi-disciplinary cross-operation and unfavorable working environment, strengthened the transportation organization and management of materials, machinery and equipment, and strictly implemented various safety card control measures, safety protection and other key links to lay the foundation for the construction to be completed on time and with good quality.
According to Luo Yunbo, the project manager, compared with the previous engineering construction, the professional elevated open-air section of the ring network in the construction was installed for the first time with all-inclusive sun visors; For the first time, the rectifier and bidirectional converter are used to regenerate the braking energy generated by the train and feed back to the medium-voltage AC power grid to realize the reuse of energy. Compared with the traditional resistance consumption method, this technology can more effectively improve and utilize braking energy, reduce the waste of energy, and also provide a reliable guarantee for the safe and stable operation of the entire power supply system.
After the opening of the Wuxi-Jiangyin intercity rail transit project, it will become the first line in China to achieve different speeds, different systems, full lines, full time periods, and no transfer through the operation of urban lines and subways. After the opening of the project, it will be connected with Wuxi Metro Line 1, which is a landmark project and core project for the coordinated development of Xicheng, and will effectively build a "half-hour commuting circle" between Wuxi and Jiangyin, strengthen the integrated development of Xicheng, and realize the ardent expectation of the people of Xicheng and Xicheng to "connect the river and reach the lake".
