On February 1st, the teachers and students of the school's calligraphy and painting association walked into Gongchuan Town, Yongan City to carry out the activity of "Writing Blessing 'Cheap' with a Wonderful Pen, Calligraphers Performing Arts to Welcome the New Year", inscribed the Spring Festival couplets for the masses and sent New Year blessings.
Walking into Gongchuan Weiri, it was crowded with people and lively. At the event site, the desks lined up were covered with festive and auspicious couplet red paper, and teachers and students rolled up their sleeves to hold pens and splashed ink. Between the rise and fall of the pen tip, the Spring Festival couplets full of auspicious meanings jumped on the paper, and the blessing words full of good wishes were completed in one go. During the movement of the pen, everyone's joy was overflowing, and the villagers who came to receive the Spring Festival couplets were endless. The exquisite Spring Festival couplets and festive door blessings written one by one were sent to the masses, conveying the concept of honesty and thrift.
Over the past 17 years, the school calligraphy and painting association has insisted on carrying out the Spring Festival couplets in the countryside every year when the Spring Festival is coming. In the form that everyone likes to see, with the festival as the guide and the Spring Festival couplets as the medium, the activity combines the inheritance of traditional culture with the promotion of honest fashion, advocates a positive, healthy and upward attitude towards life, enriches the spiritual and cultural life of the masses, and makes the Spring Festival more "inexpensive" and "fresh". The event was jointly organized by the Office of the Discipline Inspection Commission, the Youth League Committee and the School of Architectural Engineering.
