At present, there is no title for A, B, and C goods in the national naming standards for jewelry and jade. The so-called A, B, and C goods are all commercial names.

Traditionally, it is believed that:

A goods refer to varieties that have not been artificially changed in appearance (color, clarity, etc.) and durability of jadeite except for cutting and polishing.

There are two types of B goods, one is to inject organic matter after pickling to make up for the damage caused by acid corrosion to strengthen the jadeite. The other type is jadeite with a large amount of wax.

c refers to dyed jadeite. The pickled, bleached and dyed jadeite is called B-C goods.

A goods jadeite is:

1) Jadeite that has not undergone any human treatment except for factory cutting and polishing, including jadeite that must be boiled in small amounts of wax for polishing.

2) After heating, some iron-rich jadeite turns into red and yellow jadeite.

3) After weak acid pickling, but without amine injection, the jadeite did not cause damage to the internal structure of Juancui.

B goods jadeite is:

1) Pickled jadeite with amine injection.

2) Jadeite that has been washed and heavily waxed.

C goods jadeite is:

1) Jadeite dyed green with chromium salts or amino dyes.

2) Jadeite dyed in other colors such as yellow, brown, purple, gray-green, etc.
