On April 25, 2023, 12306** and the app launched the "Pay on Your Behalf" function, which allows passengers to entrust others to pay for tickets on their behalf.
Have someone else pay for it on 12306**
Log in to 12306** and click on "Ticket Reservations".
Select information such as the origin, destination, departure date, and number of passengers.
In "Seat Selection", select the appropriate train and seat, and click "Book".
In the payment method, select "Pay on behalf of others".
Fill in the payer's name, ID number, mobile phone number and other information.
Click "Confirm".
After receiving the payment information, click "Confirm Payment".
Have someone else pay for you on the 12306 app
Open the 12306 app and click "Ticket Reservation".

Precautions
The payer must be a registered user of 12306 and have passed real-name authentication.
The payer must have the same ID as the ticket paid for.
The payment must be completed within 30 minutes, otherwise the order will be automatically cancelled.
