What should I do when I feel tired of myself?

In the long river of life, each of us is a sailor who sails alone. We set sail, chase our dreams, and aspire to be the best version of ourselves in our hearts. However, during this journey, we sometimes feel tired, mentally exhausted. This exhaustion comes from constant self-criticism, from the disappointment of failing to live up to one's expectations, from the monotony of life. These emotions intertwine to form an invisible weight – it makes us feel "tired of ourselves".

This boredom is complicated. It may stem from a long period of self-discipline, and whenever you look in the mirror, instead of being satisfied with what you have achieved, you focus on those imperfect flaws. We may feel suffocated by the day-to-day pattern of life, and life becomes like an old record, repeating the same melody, without novelty, without passion. What we care about is not only achievement, but also the process of growth, and when we feel that we are stagnant, the dissatisfaction in our hearts is like autumn leaves, slowly piling up.

The real danger, however, is not boredom per se, but how we deal with it. If this feeling is allowed to creep indefinitely, it can erode our motivation and weaken our will to change. But if we can confront this boredom, it can become a force that pushes us to step out of the status quo and look for new possibilities.

To be free from this boredom, we need to first accept our imperfections. Everyone has limitations and shortcomings, and that's part of human nature. We can reduce the stress on our hearts by accepting our own shortcomings. It's not about giving up, it's about self-acceptance, a deep understanding and compassion for yourself.

Next, we can try to break the repetitive patterns of life. Even small changes can bring fresh air to our lives. This can be a new hobby, a small trip, or a new study program. When we dare to try new things, our lives naturally change.

In addition, we can also look for new goals and directions. Not being satisfied with your current self does not mean that you cannot change your future self. By setting new goals, we can paint a new picture of our lives. These goals don't have to be ambitious, they can be simple, specific, and achievable. Most importantly, these goals can spark our inner passion, give us something to look forward to, and motivation to pursue.

Finally, we should not forget about connecting with others. When we feel bored and disappointed, the support of friends and family can give us strength. Their understanding and encouragement can help us see our own worth and make us realize that even when we feel bad about ourselves, there are people who value us and appreciate us.

The feeling of being bored with ourselves is a call to the heart that prompts us to reflect, change and grow. It's a turning point, an opportunity to start anew. So, the next time you get bored, remember that this is just one chapter in your life, and a new one is waiting for you to write.
