The third phase of the East Lake Greenway is located on the east side of Swan Road, starting from the south end of Shuanghu Bridge and ending at East Lake South Road, with a total length of 420 meters and an area of about 120,000 square meters. The renovation has resulted in significant improvements in both landscape and functionality.

As an integral part of the East Lake Greenway System, the Fangying Terrace Section has taken great pains in terms of greenway construction and landscape integration, as well as safety and security.
This section is adjacent to Swan Road. The east side of Swan Road was originally the Swan Road Amusement Park near the East Lake, and the west side was the Eagle Terrace.
On February 8, the reporter saw on the spot that the newly built greenway cycling track was 35 meters, can ride in both directions. In order to ensure the safety of cycling and enrich the greenway landscape at the same time, a wide 15 meters of green separation zone with flowers and trees.

The careful design and construction have made this section of traffic realize the separation of motorized lanes, greenway cycling paths and walking paths, and the safety and comfort of citizens and tourists have been well guaranteed.
Another significant change in the transportation organization is that the bus stop located opposite Fangyingtai has been relocated 80 meters to Donghu South Road and converted into a harbor-style bus station. There is a non-motorized vehicle parking lot and a boulevard square next to the station to facilitate tourists to gather and park safely.
A new section of Long Beach has been added.

Shiji Long Beach is close to the south end of the Shuanghu Bridge, which was originally a forest, and the view of the lake is blocked, the revetment is steep, and tourists cannot get close to the water. The Eagle Flying Terrace section is a wooden hydrophilic platform, which is high above the water surface and is equipped with guardrails, so that tourists cannot get in touch with the water of East Lake at zero distance.
After careful conception, the designer added the Shiji Long Beach scenic spot in the area of dozens of meters south of the southern end of the Shuanghu Bridge to make the landscape more humane.

After removing some of the trees, the view of the lake in this area is clear, and visitors can enjoy the East Lake and the Moshan Mountain in the distance. The slope bank has been renovated, and there is a section that can enter the water naturally, and the shore is a gently sloping grassland, which is decorated with stones, which looks very ecological; There is a section with two winding steps at the water's edge, where visitors can rest and play in the water.

Two green sculptures of swans and a horizontal landscape stone are the iconic landscape of the original Swan Road Park. Both landscapes have been preserved to perpetuate the memory of the city. The green sculpture moved a few meters to the lake to make room for visitors to take pictures; The landscape stone has been reversed, and flowers and shrubs have been planted next to it to make the landscape more beautiful.

There were originally a number of small flower ponds in the Eagle Terrace section, which have been integrated and upgraded, and now they have become large flower ponds with continuous landscapes. The botanical landscape has also been optimized, with the original camphor retained, and the city tree metasequoia and the city flower plum blossom have been added to highlight the urban characteristics of Wuhan.

The damaged hard pavement of the lakeside water platform has been restored and renewed. Aging railings and light fixtures have also been repaired and renewed.
In the third phase, 11 scenic spots will be built.

The third phase of the East Lake Greenway starts from the south end of the Shuanghu Bridge in the north to the "One Tree" in the south of the scenery village, with a total length of 345 kilometers, with a total of 11 landscape nodes designed along the way.
