Is the Chinese language and literature major good?

I graduated from Zhengzhou University with a major in Chinese language and literature, and now I am always thinking about how I can be worthy of the title of Chinese language and literature graduate. Many people say that you can't learn any professional skills in this major, but I think this major is by no means worse than any other major.

The characteristics of Chinese language and literature majors are like wine, the longer it lasts, the more mellow it is, of course, it also depends on how you save it, some wines are not well preserved, and when they are opened and drunk, they are like rancid water, while some people keep them well, and the wine is really fragrant, not spicy, and full of flavor. The same is true for Chinese language and literature majors, depending on how you study, if you don't learn solidly, it will naturally be useless, boring, and tormenting. But when you really enter this profession, you will find that our culture is really broad and profound.

Of course, there is a problem that we must face up, the time required for the Chinese language and literature major to produce value is far longer than that of other majors, and those who study machinery will soon be able to use machines to make various products, but we are different, we are not able to write a masterpiece immediately after learning Chinese language and literature! We need to accumulate, just as there is a long wait and growth in front of breaking out of the cocoon into a butterfly. Do you think that's the case?
