This is the first time I have taken the free migrant train, which is convenient and fast. Mo Weihuan, a 27-year-old Buyi ethnic group member in Duyun City, Qiannan Prefecture, said that when she learned that she took her children back to her hometown in Guizhou for the Spring Festival this year, local community cadres helped her apply for a free ticket to work in Guangzhou. "In the past, when I took my children home for the Chinese New Year, I often had to buy a standing ticket, but this time I saved me a lot of trouble. ”
It is understood that this train is the fifth free special train organized during the 2024 Spring Festival in Qiannan Prefecture, Guizhou Province. As a city and prefecture with a large number of migrant workers in Guizhou, Qiannan Prefecture has made arrangements in advance this year, mobilized local social security departments, township (street) and village (community) staff to find out the willingness of the masses to return to work and travel plans, and since the third day of the Lunar New Year this year, it has successively organized free special trains and buses for migrant workers to provide free transportation services for more than 10,000 local people.
The reporter followed the train to witness this hopeful return journey that day.
On the train, the reporter met Shi Pinfang, who was wearing a beautiful minority costume. She was holding a commemorative plaque with the slogan of the special train and taking pictures with the workers who accompanied her.
Shi Pinfang, a 50-year-old Maonan ethnic group, is a poverty alleviation worker in Lali Village, Zhemi Township, Pingtang County, Qiannan Prefecture, and now works as a cook in Guangzhou's Baiyun District and a part-time cleaning job at a sanitation company, earning about 6,000 yuan a month. "I want to go back to work immediately after the Spring Festival, I can't buy a ticket and I'm anxious for several days, but the cadres in the village helped me contact this ticket to Guangzhou yesterday, thank you very much. ”
During the interview, the reporter learned that many migrant workers went to Guangdong to work with "a skill". Wu Huijuan, a 41-year-old native of Dushan County, said she attended computer training in the county a few years ago, and then worked as a manufacturer of mobile phone parts in Guangdong Province to collect data on the production floor.
The work is very smooth, the monthly salary is more than 7,000 yuan, and I have also participated in the graphic design training organized by the county in the past two years. Wu Huijuan said.
Chen Xin**, a 21-year-old guy from a relocation site in ** county, is swarthy, has fashionable curly hair, and carries two simple bags of luggage. After graduating from secondary vocational school, he successfully obtained the qualification certificate of special equipment operator, and has been engaged in elevator installation and maintenance, and now has a monthly income of more than 4,000 yuan.
I'm just starting out now, apprenticeing with a master in Guangzhou. I plan to learn the technology thoroughly and return to my hometown to develop in the future. Chen Xin's young face revealed confidence.
The nearly five-hour journey was full of laughter. The relevant responsible personnel of the human resources and social security department of Qiannan Prefecture accompanied the train, and organized interesting quizzes and prizes together with the train staff on duty, so as to bring the joy of the journey to the migrant workers.
At around 6:40 p.m., train D1859 arrived at Guangzhou South Railway Station. Facing the warm breeze of Lingnan, they started the struggle of the new year.
