What should I do if I have a lot of nocturia? Simple three-flavor medicine, tonifying the kidney and shrinking urine, away from the trouble of getting up at night
As an old TCM practitioner with rich clinical experience, I often encounter patients asking about nocturia.
Frequent nocturia not only affects the quality of sleep, but also may bring a lot of inconvenience to life. Today, I will introduce you to a simple method, only three flavor medicines, can tonify the kidney and shrink urine, so that you can stay away from the trouble of waking up at night.
First, let's understand the causes of nocturia. Nocturia is mostly related to insufficient kidney qi and bladder appointment. The kidneys are important organs of the human body and have the function of fixing urine. When kidney qi is insufficient, the contractile ability of the bladder is weakened, resulting in the inability of urine to be excreted normally, resulting in frequent nocturia.
In response to this phenomenon, we use three-flavor medicine to tonify the kidney and shrink urine. These three flavors are: Yizhiren, black medicine, and yam.
Yizhiren is a warm traditional Chinese medicine, which has the effect of tonifying the kidney and consolidating essence, shrinking urine and stopping relieving. Modern pharmacological studies have also shown that nootropic kernels can stimulate bladder smooth muscles and promote urinary excretion.
Wu Yao is a spicy and warm Chinese medicine, which has the effect of relieving pain and warming the kidneys and dissipating cold. Wuyao can dilate the bladder sphincter, enhance urination ability, and relieve symptoms such as frequent urination and urgency.
Yam is a traditional Chinese medicine with a taste of sweetness, which has the effect of nourishing the spleen, lungs and kidneys, nourishing qi and nourishing yin. Yam can nourish the kidney yin, enhance the fixed uptake function of the kidney, and can play a synergistic role when combined with Yizhiren and Wuyao.
How to use: Grind the nootropic kernels, black herbs, and yams into fine powder according to the ratio of 1:1:1, take an appropriate amount of warm water each time, 2-3 times a day.
It is recommended to take it at bedtime to reduce the frequency of urination at night.
Precautions: Nocturia is mostly related to a variety of factors, such as urinary tract infection, diabetes, etc. If frequent nocturia persists, it is advisable to seek medical attention promptly to rule out other underlying conditions. At the same time, patients should avoid eating irritating foods such as raw and cold, spicy and other foods while taking traditional Chinese medicine, so as not to affect the efficacy of the medicine.
