1. Abrasion resistance: The wear resistance of the polyurethane-lined steel pipe is mainly due to its polyurethane-lined elastomer structure. This structure enables the polyurethane to be scoured and worn by the medium in the way of "overcoming rigidity with softness", which greatly reduces the direct and strong erosion and wear of the medium on the inner wall of the pipeline, and effectively prolongs the service life of the pipeline. The abrasion resistance test result is generally 003-0.In the range of 2mm m, it is about 3-5 times that of natural rubber.
2. Corrosion resistance: The corrosion resistance of the lined polyurethane steel pipe is mainly due to the non-polar, void-free and dense structure of its surface. This structure can effectively prevent the direct corrosion of the inner wall of the pipeline by various corrosive media such as acid, alkali, salt and seawater. At the same time, polyurethane itself has good chemical resistance and can be used in a variety of corrosive environments.
3. High temperature resistance: The high temperature resistance of the lined polyurethane steel pipe is mainly reflected in its ability to withstand a higher temperature environment. Depending on the polyurethane type and formulation, it can work stably in the medium temperature range of -50 +100. In addition, some specially formulated polyurethane materials can withstand high temperatures of up to 150 °C.
