Manchester United legend Edwin van der Sar is making good progress after a sudden cerebral haemorrhage in July last year. In his first interview recently, he said he didn't think he was too affected. 
Van der Sar suffered a cerebral hemorrhage while on vacation in Croatia in July last year, and was sent to a hospital in the Netherlands after the onset of the disease. His wife later revealed that Van der Sar was recovering well and was not in danger of his life. Now, Van der Sar is on camera for the first time after being fully ** to talk about his current fitness.
In an interview with The Telegraph, he said: "I feel like I'm in good health and I don't think I've been affected too much. But I've never spent a full day in the office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. now. Other than that, I feel good. In addition, Van der Sar also revealed that he is now on vacation with his wife in the Caribbean islands.
Van der Sar started his career at Ajax in 1990 and moved to Juventus after nine years of play. He landed in England and joined Fulham in 2001 before moving to Manchester United in 2005. He spent six seasons at Old Trafford before retiring. Thereafter, he served as Marketing Director and CEO at Ajax until 2023.
