Wheat field

Wen Haizi. Others see you.

Feel warm and beautiful about you.

I stand at the center of your painful questioning.

Burned by you. I stand on the sun's rays of pain.

Wheat fieldO mysterious questioner.

As I stand before you in agony.

You can't say I have nothing.

You can't say I'm empty-handed.

Appreciation

Today, I will share a poem by Haizi "Wheat Land", which is full of poetry in just a few words. The poet's inspired language is often confusing, because it is difficult to understand, and his poems are often criticized as not poems, but babbling. What's more, Haizi is not a poet at all. In short, the person is gone, and he can't refute it no matter how much you slander it. People are always angry about things they can't understand, and anger is useless, which only adds to the problem of understanding. Take the poem "Wheat Land" as an example, "I stand at the center of painful questioning", how to understand this sentence? At first glance, it looks quite spiritual, but it's not very easy to understand. So, you should be a little more patient with these obscure things, otherwise, don't start. Below, on this little poem, try to analyze it, if there is any fallacy, welcome to shoot bricks.

First of all, the poet uses a contrast to expand the poem, in the hearts of others, the wheat field is warm and beautiful, and the poet feels the pain of the wheat field, this sentence "I stand in the center of your painful questioning and am burned by you", as if to say that the wheat field is in pain, so he asks the poet why, and the poet stands in the most painful ** of the wheat field, and is also burned by this pain. Why does the poet feel this way? This has to be analyzed from the imagery of wheat fields and wheat. The wheat field symbolizes the mother of life, and the wheat symbolizes life, the germination and growth of the wheat, accompanied by the throes of the growth of life, the poet and the wheat stand together, that is, standing in this pain, of course, surrounded by this pain, and feel burned.

The logic of thinking between the poet and others is completely different, others feel external, while the poet feels internal. External, superficial, it can easily fade away over time. And the inner things are connected with life and spirit, and they will not disappear with time, not only will not disappear, but will only become more and more profound. Therefore, the closer the psalmist is to this pain, the greater the implication and the deeper the pain is felt. Obviously, the poet analyzes his own heart through the symbolism of the wheat field and the wheat seed, and in the poet's heart, life is painful, so transferring this emotion to the wheat field and the wheat seed, the two influence each other, and question each other, which is simply more painful.

Then he said, "I stand on the sun's painful rays", and in Haizi's poems, the sun has a special symbolic meaning, and this wheat field is the same as wheat. The sun symbolizes hope, strength, light, justice, the future, and so on, all good things. And the psalmist says to stand on the ray of pain, which indicates that he is lost and feels hopeless, which is like talking about the painful struggle of the heart. The poet then asks a rhetorical question of the bitter questioner of the wheat field, and the poet testifies to himself that he does not have nothing, that he is not empty-handed, and that what he has is pain, the throes of life.

It can be seen that the poet thinks about what is intrinsic to life, and the poet's call to pain may be to vent his inner dissatisfaction. Spiritually, Haizi is an idealist full of divinity, which causes the source of his suffering, the gap between ideals and reality, which will make people fall into negative and depressed emotions. The poet's own sensitive constitution will only feel more intense and different from ordinary people. That's why the scene at the beginning of the poem appears.

This poem gives the reader enough space to think and imagine. A grasp of the imagery commonly used in poets' creations is the key to understanding poetry. These specific imagery has a personalized symbolic meaning and belongs to the poet. When encountering similar poems, it is much easier to understand them from this aspect. The blank space at the end of the poem is also worth further expanding, which may also require a deeper understanding of the poet's creative system. What do you think?

Throwing bricks and leading jade, discussing poetry on poetry, and learning by writing, this is the end. If you have different opinions, please feel free to communicate in the comment area.
