Hope that Jackie Chan welcomes the New Year Dear friends, I am Mr. Wang. Today we are going to have an important topic together: how to avoid our poor thinking from having a bad impact on children's development. The "poor people's thinking" here does not simply refer to material poverty, but a mentality, a concept, and a mode of thinking.

First, let's talk about the superficial poor mindset. This pattern of thinking manifests itself in worries and anxieties about life, such as worrying about not having the next meal after eating, and not having cotton shoes and down jackets in winter. Today, however, we are going to focus on the deeper poor mindset that creeps in as we grow up with our children. We are always worried that our children will not be able to pass exams, that they will fall behind in a certain subject, that they will not be able to adapt to the environment. This worry and anxiety leads us to make choices blindly, such as blindly enrolling in classes and blindly buying study materials. As a result, our guidance became chaotic and disorderly, which is called "blind command".

So why do our children get tired of school? The reason is that we tend to ignore the individuality and needs of each child and try to educate them in a standardized way. Therefore, as parents, we need to break out of this mindset and get rid of anxiety and worry.

So, how do we do it? First of all, we must face up to the shortcomings of our children and give them an accurate positioning. Second, we need to make a long-term plan and set a long-term goal. We are anxious and worried because we only see the difficulties in front of us, such as our children not doing well in a test or their grades dropping. However, if we stretch the timeline, say 3 or 5 years, we will find that these problems are actually insignificant. When we look back at our own upbringing, we also encountered all kinds of difficulties, which at the time seemed to be a big deal, but now it seems that they are just small episodes in the process of growing up.

To get rid of the poor mentality, we need to improve ourselves and see things from a higher perspective. When we improve ourselves, we will look at the growth process of our children, and we will find that these are normal. There are no setbacks and difficulties, but instead it seems abnormal. How can a child become perfect all at once? We ourselves are not perfect adults. Therefore, in the process of accompanying our children to grow up, we must first change our poor thinking and get rid of the state of anxiety and tension, and then we can better guide our children and form a virtuous circle.

Let's work together to get rid of the poor mindset and create a better environment for children to grow up.
