After opening a homestay for a few years, I have a little feeling

In recent years, the real estate market environment is not very prosperous, and there are more and more entrants to homestays; Unfortunately, I happened to open a homestay for 4 years, and I would like to share with you some of the experiences of opening a homestay as a boss.

Before opening a homestay, in fact, I also did a lot of work, about the experience of leaving the job to be a homestay owner, frankly speaking, there are joys and sorrows, divided into several four aspects to briefly talk about.

First, more freedom. Compared with the previous various jobs, now I am very free, I control my own time, I will not passively do this and that, and there will be no passive meetings, annoying **, what I like to do, when I want to do it.

Second, more space. Although the B&B is small, it is also an independent unit, no matter how few employees there are, he is also a boss and can decide many things independently. For example, room decoration, Chinese, European, Japanese, Thai, whatever, such as the positioning of the homestay, high, medium and low-grade, you are at will. For example, if the reception of a guest is pleasing to the eye, accept it if it is pleasing to the eye, and find a reason to refuse if it is not pleasing to the eye, as long as you are willing, no one will stop you.

Third, the income is more impressive. Compared to the previous dead salary, the income is higher, at least the ceiling is much higher. As long as you are willing to work hard, the rewards will not be less, even in the current difficult times. Of course, the premise is also that money is invested, after all, it is only manpower that goes to work.

Fourth, greater responsibility. Any decision you make will affect the income and future of the store, just like the decoration I just mentioned, no matter what style, whether the customer pays for it or not is responsible for it. For example, the guest reception I just mentioned is also responsible for the occupancy rate. For example, the positioning of the B&B just mentioned, I have to take responsibility for the future of the B&B. The other is the employees in the store, people work with you, and your livelihood is directly handed over to you, you have to think about their income and their future. And I can't just get paid at the end of the month like I used to do when I was working, and the leader will be responsible for everything. Now no one will take any responsibility for you, you have to take all the responsibility yourself.

Therefore, since becoming the owner of the homestay, there have been gains and losses, and there are still a lot of feelings, and I can't finish talking about it in a few words. Interested friends can follow or send private messages to communicate.
