On February 16, while resting at home, Mr. Wu suddenly heard a "bang" sound from the window, and he looked up to see that a strange bird was landing on the windowsill. After a while, Mr. Wu saw that the bird did not fly away, so he curiously stepped forward to check, but when he got close to the bird, he did not fly, and looked listless. Mr. Wu had never seen this kind of bird, and was worried that it might be a national protected animal, and he was afraid that it would be harmed twice, so he found a cardboard box to pack the bird and took it to the Tuanchengshan Police Station for help.

The police carefully observed that the bird's beak shape was quite special, like a hook, and it had dark brown and white horizontal spots under the chest. The bird appears to be weak, clenched in its claws in the box, unable to stand. The police immediately contacted the Huangshi Animal Protection Association, requested professional assistance in the treatment, and further confirmed the identity of the bird.

According to the identification of professionals, the bird is named Crested Eagle and is a national second-class key protected wild animal. The crested eagle was not obviously injured, and it was supposed to be sick and unable to fly for a long time, so it "landed" at Mr. Wu's house. To avoid a deterioration of the situation, the crested eagle was picked up by professionals**.

At present, the crested eagle has gradually recovered under the careful care of professionals, and when it is confirmed that it is ready for release, it will be sent to a suitable place for release.
