Zhijin Cave, the secret wonder of the underground fairyland

Zhijin Cave Scenic Area, located in Guanzhai Miao Township, Zhijin County, Guizhou Province, is a breathtaking natural wonder, located on the south bank of the Liuchong River, one of the headwaters of the Wujiang River, only 120 kilometers away from the provincial capital Guiyang, is a bright tourist pearl in Guizhou Province. The entire scenic area covers an area of 170 square kilometers, with elevations varying between 900 and 1670 meters, forming a rich and diverse landscape. Zhijin Cave is famous for its unique karst cave landscape and is known as the "King of Caves". The cave is divided into many scenic spots such as the welcome hall, the lecture hall, the Xuexiang Palace, the Shouxing Palace, the Guanghan Palace, the Lingxiao Palace, the 100,000 Great Mountain, the Tallinn Cave, the Golden Rat Palace, the Wangshan Lake, the Water Township Zeguo, etc., covering 47 halls and more than 150 scenic spots, constituting a magnificent underground wonder.

Among them, Wanshou Palace is the largest cave hall in Zhijin Cave, with an area of more than 30,000 square meters. The sunlight shines through the entrance of the cave, the moss in the cave is overgrown, and the karst accumulations are in different forms, such as giant lions, jade toads, rock pines, etc., constituting a strange landscape. What is particularly striking is the circular skylight, about 10 meters in diameter, which allows sunlight to shine directly on the bottom of the cave, forming a peculiar landscape of "round light and a cave sky" or "falling money hole". Attractions such as the Mushroom Cloud Hall and the Shadow Spring add to the mysterious and fantastic atmosphere in the cave.

The lecture hall is another fascinating sight, with a length of 200 meters and a width of 50 meters. The Sun Moon Lake is formed in the cave, and the waterhole is divided into two by stalactites, presenting a landscape like a pagoda. The cave walls present colorful natural pictures such as mountains, forests, and fields, making people feel as if they are in a fairyland.

Tallinn Cave (Golden Pagoda City) is another gem of Zhijin Cave, with an area of 160,000 square meters, there are more than 100 golden stone towers, up to more than 30 meters, shining. The world of Tallinn is divided into 11 halls, where stalagmites, stone vines, stone curtains, stone curtains, bell flags, stone drums, and stone pillars complement each other, forming a beautiful picture. Mushroom pond, stone drum, snow pressed green pine and other scenic spots have their own characteristics, making the whole Tallinn Cave one of the most magical places in Zhijin Cave.

The water town of Zeguo shows the rich waterscape of Zhijin Cave, including four parts: Mangu Promenade, Beihailong, Banquet Hall, and Jiangnan Zeguo. The stalactites of the Mangu promenade are abundant and varied, the banquet hall is an ideal place for rest and activities, and the scenic spots such as the dragon-shaped side stone dam and the nine bamboo shoots in Qingtan in Beihailong have their own characteristics.
