After trying ZEEKR 007, I feel that the Model 3 is really cost effective

When I was chatting with a friend, I was asked if I had to choose a new electric car with the money I used to buy the Model Y at the time, which one would I choose? When I ordered the car in August 2021, the base price of the standard version was 2760,000, I added 8,000 yuan to install 20-inch tires. If you take 28With a budget of 40,000 yuan to choose a pure electric car, there are indeed quite a lot of choices nowadays, but I personally prefer the ZEEKR 007.

At the time I say this, I haven't tried ZEEKR 007, and my understanding of it is still only on ** and configuration information. For example, the lines of its body are long in my aesthetics. There is also a "fingertip parking" that looks cool and fun and can be practical, NZP high-speed autonomous navigation assistance, CCD electromagnetic damping system, full-stack 800V high-voltage system, and a range of up to 870 kilometers, which makes Tesla, which is a benchmark in science and technology, proud of itself.

Just recently, I test-drove the ZEEKR 007, and after the test, I can only describe it in four words: shocked.

When I first approached the ZEEKR 007, it was lower and shorter than I thought, although the official definition of it is "pure electric luxury sedan", but the feeling it gives me from the actual car, it is not an exaggeration to call it a "pure electric luxury coupe". The moment I opened the door, sat in the driver's seat, and held the steering wheel with both hands, it was like an echo in my head: "Drive it away, accelerate, accelerate."

A very interesting detail, because this test drive of the extreme krypton 007 optional 12000 yuan "intelligent induction automatic door" set, after I press the brake pedal, the door on the driver's side will automatically close, full of a sense of ceremony. When I drove it out of the parking lot, several speed bumps on the road made me subconsciously slow down and prepare to be "duangduang", but the ZEEKR 007 was very comfortable to dissolve, which also made me have more expectations for its handling performance.

On a section of the urban-rural road before driving on the highway, the accelerator and brake pedal of the ZEEKR 007 respond linearly, basically how much power I want, or how much braking force I want, the 007 can give me the feedback I want. The steering wheel is very small, and even if it is close to 4.9 meters long, it is still as agile as a small car in the crowded traffic.

It's finally at high speed, and you can feel its blazing acceleration performance when you tap the throttle after passing through the toll booth. Although I test drove this rear-wheel drive intelligent driving version of 100kwh, the acceleration of 100 kilometers is 54 seconds, far less than the 3 of the four-wheel drive version8 seconds and 2 of the Performance Edition84 seconds, but soon reached the speed limit on the highway, which is close to 23-ton car.

Although it weighs more than many traditional fuel medium and large SUVs, it is still as light as a swallow in high-speed driving, and with the master-level chassis tuning, whether it is a quick lane change or a big bend, the attitude of the 007 is quite calm. When passing over the expansion joints between the bridge and the roadbed, the suspension filters out vibrations well and retains a certain sense of the road. Unfortunately, the rear-wheel drive version is not equipped with a CCD electromagnetic damping system, and only three four-wheel drive models are equipped with it.

With such excellent performance, of course, it is inseparable from its big heart. ZEEKR 007 has two sets of power: single-motor rear-wheel drive version and dual-motor four-wheel drive version, of which the rear-wheel drive version provides a 310kw motor, and the four-wheel drive version has 165kw more front motor than the rear-wheel drive version. However, for the vast majority of people, the performance of the rear-wheel drive version is more than enough.

Another interesting point is that when equipped with a higher power 100kWh battery, it accelerates faster than the 75kWh battery, and the rear-wheel drive version is 02 seconds, the four-wheel drive version is 03 seconds, it seems that the 100kwh ternary lithium battery is much lighter than the 75kwh lithium iron phosphate battery pack. Now you only need to spend an extra 20,000 yuan to upgrade from 75kWh to a faster and longer-lasting 100kWh battery.

In dynamic driving, after ZEEKR 007 gave me a performance that exceeded expectations, I experienced the "Vast Intelligent Driving" intelligent driving system that ZEEKR strongly promoted. At present, 007 can realize high-speed NZP, based on navigation routes in closed highways such as highways and expressways, to achieve intelligent control of vehicle speed, autonomous lane change, autonomous on-ramp and other operations, to achieve point-to-point assisted driving in navigation.

However, the city version of the NZP will not be available until June this year, and commuter mode will be the first feature to be in beta. After the actual experience, there is no problem with the reaction speed of changing lanes, the timely deceleration of slow cars, and the tracking of large corners, which also makes me have more expectations for the city version of NZP that will start public beta in June.

In addition to the intelligent driving system, ZEEKR 007 also has some technology configurations that are very attractive to me, such as the "fingertip parking" I said earlier, which can not only achieve automatic parking in the conventional position, but also customize the selected position and angle on the central control screen according to your fingers to complete automatic parking. It's a pity that this experience was in a hurry, and I couldn't feel it in person, leaving a small regret.

There is also its exterior mirror adjustment, no need to set the left and right rearview mirrors separately, which side of the rearview mirror I look at, it can automatically switch to the corresponding rearview mirror adjustment, this is really easy to use! In addition, the EVA car voice assistant is worthy of affirmation in terms of recognition rate and richness of functions, which also makes up for some of the deeper buried functions in the 007 car machine system, and a sentence of "Hi EVA" can reach the desired function operation in seconds.

Finally, I would like to share some purely personal subjective feelings, just for reference.

First of all, let's talk about my feeling about the appearance of the ZEEKR 007 real car, the overall shape of the 007 has a coupe-like streamline, especially the C-pillar and the rear of the car under the rear 45° viewing angle are integrated, and the two-color lines are very elegant in the sun. Its length, width and height are 4865, 1900 and 1450 mm, respectively, and the long wheelbase of 2928 mm creates a more slender stance.

The front of the car features a clamshell canopy, a design best known for Range Rover, which is used on the low, swooping front of the 007 for a more visually powerful look. The unique all-in-one smart light curtain can display different styles of dynamic effects, and at the same time, you can also customize the display screen you want. It's a pity that the custom light language can only be used in the parking state, and you can only use the original animated effect screen when driving. And the light system goes off after getting out of the car, so it can really only be shown to others? I feel that the 8,000 yuan optional fee is not worth it.

The taillights are two slender LED light strips, which look very chic in front of today's overwhelming through-type taillights, and the trim plate under the taillights adopts corrugated details, which adds more layers to the tail.

The cabin is also well detailed, with a microfiber headliner and Nappa leather seats with double stitching. There is also a power of 1900W, a total of 21 speakers composed of an audio system, although it has the same sound effect as the million-level executive car claimed by the lecturer, there is still some distance, but on a car of more than 200,000, it is already quite capable of playing.

Of course, the 007 is certainly not perfect, for example, to start the vehicle with a card key, the card must be placed on the wireless charging pad, and after putting the phone on the card, it is impossible to charge the phone, while on the Tesla, you only need to put the card on the trim plate in front of the cup holder. Of course, for the car owner, it must be a mobile phone instead of a card, so this problem does not exist.

The configuration of the seats is rich, but the cushions of the rear seats are a bit short, which is not very friendly to people with long legs. The operation of the car machine system still needs to be optimized, for example, click the shortcut key of seat heating, or you need to enter the seat operation interface to control, not like Tesla, directly click the shortcut key to control the heating gear and switch.

The power consumption is still a lot higher than that of the Model 3, driving with air conditioning in winter, basically staying above 18kWh per 100 kilometers, and under the same working conditions, the Model 3 only needs 12-13, which is also the only advantage of the Model 3 in front of the ZEEKR 007, so I strongly recommend buying a 100kWh battery version again, faster, longer lasting, and more practical!

I personally don't recommend the Stargate set with headlights, the use of the scene is too limited, and the novelty will become chicken ribs after it passes.
