In Microsoft Word, modify mode is often referred to as "revised" mode, which is a feature that tracks and reviews changes to a document. Here are the steps on how to find and use the modified mode in Word:
Open the Microsoft Word document.
Click on the "Review" tab at the top of the screen, which will open the review toolbar.
In the review toolbar, find the Revise button, which is usually located on the left side of the toolbar. If the document is not currently in revision mode, this button may be grayed out.
Click on the "Revis" button, which will open a drop-down menu with different revision options such as "Revis", "New Annotation", "New Ink Annotation", etc.
Select "Revision", which will enable revision mode. Now, when you make changes in your document, such as adding, deleting, or moving text, Word will automatically track those changes and mark them with special colors. For example, added text is usually displayed in red or other colors, while deleted text is struck through.
If you want to see all the changes, you can use the Revision Pane. In the review toolbar, click the Revision Pane button, which will open a pane on the left or right side of the document listing all the changes.
You can accept or reject each change by clicking the "Accept" or "Decline" button. If you want to accept or reject all changes at once, you can select Accept all revisions to the document or Reject all revisions to the document.
When you're done editing and want to turn off revision mode, just tap the "Revision" button again and select the "Revision" option to turn it off.
Finally, remember to save the document to keep your changes.
Please note that different versions of Word may be slightly different, but the basic steps and functions are the same. By using revision mode, you can more easily track and review changes in a document, which is useful for multiple people collaboratively editing the same document.
