Our three team's vegetable plots are located in the north of the village, adjacent to the well house used for daily watering, with an earthen ditch in the middle, which often contains water. Thanks to the abundant manure and abundant water, the garden is full of life all year round.
Every time the vegetable season comes, the people in the vegetable field are cheering and shouting, and there is a lot of noise. Lao Zhai, who manages the vegetable garden, puts his hands on his hips, like a majestic general standing in the vegetable garden**, directing the members to divide the vegetables in piles, and directing the households who come to pull the vegetables to load the vegetables in order.
At this time, it is also the happiest time for the children, who are eager to help the adults to load vegetables into baskets and wooden carts, such as yellow pumpkin, white radish, red pepper ......At that time, there were no rare vegetables, and whatever vegetables had a high yield and were easy to survive, they could be planted.
The vegetable garden belonging to the collective is necessary to maintain the life of every household, and people cherish the fruits of their labor in the vegetable garden, carefully pull the vegetables into their homes, and then carefully integrate the vegetables into their daily recipes.
Since the implementation of the contract responsibility system for joint production, every household has its own land, and with land comes the right to dispose of land, and it is necessary to arrange a vegetable plot. But the people who were used to living in a group could not get used to it all of a sudden, so they discussed and arranged their own vegetable gardens together.
My vegetable garden is located on the east side of the village, next to a vegetable field is a man-made earthen canal, from which the cold and turbid water flows into the garden, and the garden is always full of life.
In summer and autumn, melons and fruits are fragrant, every time we get out of school, we will always go into the vegetable garden for various reasons, pick a tomato on the left, pick a cucumber on the right, chew with great interest, sometimes the harvest is quite rich, and we can pick a basket of long beans in a row. His own vegetable garden couldn't meet his needs, and he inadvertently crossed the boundary and picked someone else's by mistake, and the uncle and aunt next door laughed when they found out.
In addition to planting crops and vegetable gardens, almost all the wasteland that can be used on the roadside, slopes, and river beaches has become their vegetable gardens, so that later every household has planted vegetables in front of their doors, which is convenient for fertilization and watering, and is easy to pick at any time.
The wheels of the times are rolling forward, and I don't know when people are no longer satisfied with opening up small vegetable gardens, and plastic greenhouses are quietly emerging. By controlling the room temperature, plastic Dapeng disrupts the concept of seasonal vegetables, and people can eat fresh vegetables all year round.
I drove through the outskirts of a city lined with greenhouses on both sides of the road, stretching for several kilometers, and the sun shining on the plastic film with dazzling white flowers.
