Lin Boqu is one of the five elders of Yan'an, a veteran of the party, and his prestige is very high. In 1956, Lin Boqu ranked third among the members of the committee, second only to *** and *** higher than *** and Mr. Zhu.
When the People's Republic of China was founded, Lin Boqu was the first secretary general and presided over the founding ceremony, and he was standing behind him at that time. In 1960, Lin Boqu died of illness at the age of 74. Unexpectedly, the next year, his wife committed suicide.
Lin Boqu's wife's name is Zhu Ming, formerly known as Wang Junbi, and this name is very bookish. Zhu Ming was born into a family of bureaucratic landlords, whose ancestors had managed warehouses for the Manchu royal family, and when the Taiping Rebellion was rising, the Taiping army cut down the pillars in their hall.
It's a pity that it was not cut down, leaving only a few knife marks, which shows that the material of their pillars is very hard. By the time Zhu Ming was born, the family had begun to decline, but the emaciated camel was bigger than the horse, his father invested in business, Zhu Ming read Tang poetry at the age of 3, and read "Dream of Red Mansions" at the age of 12.
I have learned some piano, chess, calligraphy and painting, and she is a typical lady. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the southeast land fell, Zhu Ming fled with his family to Sichuan, Lin Boqu went to Chongqing to do ** work, Zhu Ming listened to his speech, and admired it very much.
In 1939, Zhu Ming came to Yan'an, the holy land of revolution, after many hardships. Many relatives and friends advised her that Yan'an was too bitter, and she lacked food and clothing, so she should not go. Zhu Ming decided that he must go to Yan'an. After arriving in Yan'an, she changed her name to Zhu Ming.
Lin Boqu was Zhu Ming's guide to the revolutionary road, and Zhu Ming gradually fell in love with him. In 1945, Lin Boqu and Zhu Ming got married. At that time, Lin Boqu was 59 years old, and Zhu Ming was only 26 years old. There is a 33-year difference between them.
Age is not an obstacle to marriage. Lin Boqu is old, he works day and night, and his health is not very good, so Zhu Ming takes care of him wholeheartedly. After marriage, they care for each other and are considerate of each other, and their lives are still very happy and happy.
Zhu Ming has changed from a lady in a big feudal family, a simple young intellectual, to a staunch revolutionary, which is inseparable from Lin Boqu's words and deeds. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Lin Boqu's status was very high, and Zhu Ming also lived in joy.
In the early 50s, Lin Boqu's health was not good, ** approved, let him go to the USSR to recuperate. Zhu Ming accompanied Lin Boqu, and they had a very comfortable time in the Soviet Union, watching ballet classics together, and visiting various museums and memorial halls together.
In the late 50s, Lin Boqu's health became worse and worse, and Zhu Ming took very careful care of him and personally checked his diet. Zhu Ming specially explained to the staff that the chief is old, has poor gastrointestinal function, and has suffered from hemorrhoids, so he can't eat oily and hard dishes, and try to beat meat into balls, or chop it into pureed sauce, etc.

Zhu Ming also often told the staff about the glorious history of Lin Boqu, and she was very energetic when she talked about it, obviously she admired her husband Lin Boqu very much. In May 1960, Lin Boqu died of a heart attack. When the bad news came, Zhu Ming was about to collapse.
She often stayed alone in Lin Boqu's office, staying for two or three hours at a time, completely like a different person, and no one could persuade her. She even objected to the cremation of Lin Boqu's body and demanded a coffin burial.
She said that although Lin Lao was a member of the Communist Party, he was a member of the League and the Kuomintang before, and he had several identities, so he could be dealt with flexibly. Yang Shangkun personally went to do her ideological work, and she agreed to cremate Lin Lao's body.
After Lin Lao died, Zhu Ming also hung a color ink painting of Lin Boqu in the reception room, which was about 2 meters high and more than 1 meter wide, which was larger than a real person. Someone persuaded her that it was too big and a bit of a townman. Zhu Ming didn't think so, she said that there are great benefits, so that I can see him every day.
Unexpectedly, in 1961, Zhu Ming suddenly committed suicide. Why did she kill herself? After Lin Boqu's death, Zhu Ming's mental state has not been good. In 1954, he received an anonymous letter revealing some of his disgraceful history.
After 7 years of investigation, the anonymous letter was confirmed to be written by Zhu Ming, and Zhu Ming also admitted it, and soon committed suicide. Later, the ** Organization Department rehabilitated Zhu Ming, restored his reputation, and pointed out that there was no mistake in the anonymous letter she wrote about **.
