What is Leftover?
Leftovers from the cutting process are those that are not completely used on the board and that there is still material that can be reused.
The remaining material is a part of the raw material, and making full use of the remaining material can effectively improve the utilization rate of raw materials, reduce the waste of raw materials, save costs to a certain extent, and help enterprises better achieve the production goal of reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
1. Automatically generate surplus materials
1. After completing the nesting in the SINOCAM nesting software, click it"The rest of the material is neat".Remaining neat means that the remaining neat line is automatically generated according to the set gap and minimum length.
After clicking "Rest Neat", the following setting interface will appear
Set it according to the specific situation, and click the "OK" button after entering. As shown in the figure below, a magenta line of rest material is automatically generated, which will be automatically cut after the part is cut.
2. ClickGenerate Remainder: Generating the remaining material means that the remaining material graphic is automatically generated according to the set minimum area, length and width, and the remaining material graphic range is drawn in the form of a cross-section.
Click OK, then the remaining material will be automatically generated for all steel plates in the nesting diagram; If you click "Select", the user is asked to select the steel plate and only generate the remaining material for the selected steel plate. After the remaining material is automatically generated, as shown in the following figure:
In the lower left corner of the remaining material graphic, is the number of the remaining material, the remaining material numbering rule is numbered according to the rule set in the "typesetting options", the default rule 1 in the illustration is the beginning of "yl", followed by the steel plate number, followed by "-" and the serial number, as shown in the figure above, yl4-1 means that the number of the steel plate is 4, "-1" represents the first remaining material in the steel plate, and "-2" represents the second remaining material in the steel plate....And so on.
3. Use the remaining materials for typesetting, click "automatic typesetting" or "intelligent typesetting", and click the "Add" button selected in the red box in the figure below
Click "Select from Picture" -- select the remaining material just now; Click "OK", then the remaining steel plate is added. 
Or click "Select from file" - select the remaining material file, and directly click "OK", then the remaining steel plate will be added. NoteMeaning:When the rest material is used with the whole board, the software takes precedence over the rest of the material by default.
2. Draw the remaining materials manually
There are three ways to manually draw the remaining material, which are the remaining material drawing frame, the remaining material line, and the remaining material drawing.
1. Remaining material frame:The remaining material diagram frame is to input the plate thickness, material, furnace batch number and other information of the drawn remaining material steel plate, so as to carry out the nesting of the remaining material management. First of all, we create a new page, click "Drawing", draw the remaining material graphic we need, the last step of drawing can be the command line input c to complete a closed drawing, and then click "Rest Drawing Frame".

Click "Save As" to save the remaining material as a SINOC format file. 2. Change to the remaining material lineChange to Rest Line is to turn the selected line into a rest line.
Click "Change to Rest Line", the following figure appears after selecting the line segment, at this time we click "Generate Rest Material", as shown in the following figure3. Draw the remaining materials:Manually draw an enclosed area to generate the rest material.
Click "Draw Remainder", and when we finish drawing the closed shape on the remaining part of the steel plate, the software will automatically generate it as Remainder.
