Changsha Evening News, Changsha, February 9 (All** reporter Chen Huanming, correspondent Julie) "Wow! The scene of the first sunny day after the snow is so beautiful, Aiwan Pavilion has been lost for a long time! I heard that Yuelu Mountain was temporarily closed due to freezing weather, but I didn't expect me to return to Changsha from Beijing for the New Year, and today I can visit Yuelu Mountain again, so excited! On the afternoon of February 9, Mr. Li, the son of Hanzi in Changsha, took his family to visit Yuelu Mountain on the 30th day of the Chinese New Year's Eve.
The rare low-temperature freezing rain weather in the past few days has caused Yuelu Mountain to experience a large area of broken branches, lodging, falling branches and ice from high altitudes. In the nearly 5 days of temporary closure of the park, the Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area Management Bureau coordinated the support of many forces, after continuous fighting, de-icing and obstacle removal, ecological restoration, as of the morning of the 9th, the main road of the scenic spot was fully connected, and some important scenic spots such as Aiwan Pavilion and Lushan Temple reached the conditions for opening to the outside world, and the park was partially opened at 12 o'clock on the 9th.
Since the beginning of February, Changsha has ushered in a continuous low-temperature rain, snow and freezing weather process, which is also the strongest freezing process in five years. On February 5, the Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area Administration Bureau actively studied and judged the actual situation and issued a notice of closure.
In order to resume the opening of the park as soon as possible and allow visitors to visit the park safely during the Spring Festival, we actively responded, quickly activated the emergency plan, fully dispatched all parties to 'move' to control 'freezing', fought day and night, carried out snow melt and anti-freezing, and rescued dangers, so as to ensure the smooth flow of roads and the safety of tourists. Yang Shulan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area Administration, introduced that on the one hand, more than 820 cadres and employees were dispatched to fully devote themselves to the work of de-icing and obstacle removal; On the other hand, the city's armed police, fire protection, various functional departments and the majority of volunteers rushed to the rescue work of the scenic spot as soon as possible.
Since the 7th, the Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area has been a figure that is not afraid of the cold and rushes to help urgently. Changsha Garrison District, Changsha Armed Police Detachment, Municipal Fire and Rescue Detachment, Municipal Urban Management Bureau, New District Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau, Furong District**, Tianxin District**, Kaifu District**, Xiangjiang Group, Lugu Development Group, Changsha Chengfa Bridge and Tunnel Company, Blue Sky Rescue Team, Red Cross and other units, a total of more than 2,000 people, participated in the de-icing and obstacle removal work in the Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area.
At the scene of wreckering, the employees of the scenic spot and the support team worked together and cooperated with the division of labor, risking the danger of falling branches and ice at any time, using a variety of wrecker tools such as chain saws and high branch saws to stage "eighteen kinds of martial arts" such as pushing, sawing, shoveling and sweeping at the scene. At the same time, the scenic spot has also strengthened patrols and monitoring to discover and deal with potential safety hazards in a timely manner.
After continuous operations, up to now, the 11-kilometer main road in the scenic spot has been fully penetrated, and some important scenic spots such as Aiwan Pavilion and Lushan Temple have reached the conditions for opening to the outside world, and part of the park will be opened at 12:00 noon on February 9. The specific opening hours are: February 9 (Chinese New Year's Eve) from 12:00 noon to 17:00;From February 10 (the first day of the Lunar New Year), from 9:00 to 17:00 daily.
