On February 3, Apple reported that in today's updated support document, Apple elaborated on the details of the use of its ** headset VISION Pro. It covers practical guidelines for traveling with a headset, enabling Travel Mode, and long-term storage.
For users who want to travel with the Vision Pro, Apple has made specific recommendations. During carrying, avoid placing items such as keys and coins that may cause scratches with the headset to prevent damage to its internal display. At the same time, Apple recommends using a dedicated Apple Vision Pro travel case or similar protective device to ensure that the headset is protected from shocks and excessive vibrations while on the road. If the Vision Pro is not used for an extended period of time, the user should disconnect it from the battery and pack the ZEISS optical insert separately to prevent accidental detachment.
For travel scenarios, Apple has specially designed a travel mode for the Vision Pro headset. Users can activate the mode in the Control Center in a simple step: first look up, tap the arrow at the top of the display to open the Control Center, then tap the Control Center button to see more options, and finally tap the Travel Mode button and confirm that it is on. When Travel Mode is enabled, the user should remain seated and remove the headset before standing up. In addition, Apple reminds users to take off the headset and avoid looking out the window when taxiing, take-off, and landing, as well as when encountering turbulence, as this may affect the headset's perception of the environment.
When it comes to storing the Vision Pro, Apple has also given detailed recommendations. If the headset is not in use for a while, the user should first install a clean cover for it to prevent dust damage, and then disconnect the battery. The headset should be placed on a stable, flat surface with the cover glass facing forward. At the same time, Apple also pointed out the temperature range that the headset can withstand and warned users not to leave it in the car or expose it to the sun for long periods of time. In addition, the relative humidity of the storage environment should also be within the specified range. Apple emphasizes that users should always use two hands when picking up the headset and avoid lifting the headset separately with parts such as Light Seal or Audio Straps to prevent accidents.
According to ITBEAR, Apple's updated support documentation aims to provide Vision Pro users with a more comprehensive and practical guide to help them better protect and maintain their devices while enjoying the immersive experience brought by the headset.
