On the morning of March 23, 1949, the Communist Party of China held a meeting in Xibaipo to discuss the relocation to Beiping. Before leaving, **humorously said to ***: "Today is the day we go to Beijing to catch the exam, let's work together!" ”

**and*** go to Beijing to catch the exam", in the face of challenges, they said with confidence: "We must pass the exam and cannot fail." Taking Li Zicheng's history as an example, he warned everyone: "Not being proud when winning and not being deceived by sugar-coated shells are the principles we must uphold. ”

Picture丨*** Walking on the road, he has been communicating with the guards and soldiers, asking why we always have operations in March. One soldier raised his hand and replied: "On March 18, 1947, we evacuated Yan'an!" ”

** nodded in satisfaction. "On March 21 last year, we marched from Yangjiagou in Mizhi County, Shaanxi Province to North China! Another fighter added. ** Smiled in response, "Today is March 23rd, only two days away from March 21st last year, and we are heading towards Beiping!"

When the whole country is liberated, we will never have to move again! "As night fell, the group arrived in Dongshulu Village, Tang County, and lived in a villager's house. Although it was only a door panel bed, he still slept soundly.

1.*and*** canceled the welcome ceremony in advance, and when I arrived in Baoding, I found that the shops were closed. The local comrades explained that this was to ensure the safety of ***.

** Dissatisfied, ordered to resume business as soon as possible. In the evening, they arrived in Zhuo County and shared a delicious egg somen meal. Happily say it was the most delicious meal he'd had in years.

After dinner, the special train of ** arrived, and Liu Yalou, who was responsible for escorting him, came to greet him. ** Holding his hand, he said with a smile: "I haven't seen him for 10 years, Liu Yalou came to pick us up in the city to take the exam." ”

At the same time, ** emphasized, "We enter the city, don't disturb the people, don't make too much noise, our entry into Beiping is a silent action, the whole world will know, there is no need to do propaganda or rituals." ”

In the evening, they arrived in Zhuoxian and enjoyed delicious egg noodles together. ** said with emotion, "This is the most delicious meal I've had in years." ”

**The trip to Beijing was fraught with crises. At two o'clock in the morning, he took a special train and set off, and the destination was the heavily guarded Beiping. It is said that there are more than 8,000 Kuomintang spies, as well as Japanese and American spies lurking in various places to carry out assassination and sabotage activities.

In the Shuangqing villa that *** is about to move into, Li Kenong found a bomb, which is just one of the many dangers. Qianmen Station, the original drop-off location, was unexpectedly searched for a spy with a gun.

As a result, he had to temporarily change the drop-off location and choose Tsinghuayuan Station, which has a higher safety factor. This station has been abandoned for many years, but after receiving the notice on the evening of the 24th, the guards were immediately strengthened and a three-story guard line was set up.

At four o'clock in the morning, ** finally arrived safely at Tsinghuayuan Station, and then was arranged to rest in the Summer Palace.

** Proposed walk, but found no tourists in the park. A comrade from the Ministry of Social Affairs told him that the park is closed today for his safety.

Not satisfied with this, he decided that the park was not private and what it would be like without visitors, so he decided to return. He said, "Now that the water is drained, what else are you talking about the safety of this fish?"

You will die there in peace, and starve there. During the Jinggangshan period, he compared the relationship between the party and the people to fish and water, he said: "Losing the people is like a fish losing water, and if our party loses the people, there will be no conditions for survival." ”

Now he wanted to get close to the people, but he didn't have any, which made him unhappy.

Despite all the difficulties faced by the relevant person in charge of Ye Zilong, they still did their best to provide services to ***. The conditions of the Yijutang where I stayed were difficult, and there was no stove, which made *** no one prepare lunch when I felt hungry at noon.

Ye Zilong was in a hurry and immediately lit the coal stove to prepare for cooking, but because he had never used a coal stove, the room was filled with smoke, which made *** feel even worse.

However, Ye Zilong did not give up because of this. He volunteered to hand over the stove to the others, while he went to the stall and bought a few sesame pancakes and a few pieces of cooked meat.

When he returned, he found that the stove was ready, so he put the pancakes and cooked meat on the stove and roasted them. ** Sit around the stove with everyone and enjoy delicious yakiniku and cooked meat while keeping warm.

This relieved ***'s mood and he began to reminisce about the old days. * said that Zilong is very good at buying, this is a famous food in the capital, and he used to eat it often 30 years ago.

At that time, he ran around in search of the truth to save the country and the people, and experienced a lot of hardships, but he also met a good person like Li Dazhao. With the help of Li Dazhao, he became a Marxist-Leninist, and Li Dazhao became his true mentor.

** said that if it weren't for Li Dazhao's guidance and teaching, he wouldn't know that he would be ** today.

Yang Changji arrived in Beijing in June 1918 and was warmly invited by Cai Yuanpei, the president of Peking University, to accept the position of professor of ethics at Peking University.

At the same time, Yang Changji's family also moved to Beijing with him. When they arrived in Beijing, Yang Changji wrote a letter to his student ***, in which he informed him of an exciting news: France ** is recruiting workers for China, Cai Yuanpei once studied in France, so he advocated "hard work, thrifty study", and called on aspiring young people to go to France to work and study.

At that time, ** founded the Xinmin Society in Hunan, and after learning of this, he immediately recommended Cai Hesen to Beijing to understand the situation.

The exchange of letters between Cai Hesen and *** prompted *** to leave Hunan and go to Beijing to begin his study journey at Peking University. Yang Changji suggested that in addition to studying, he should participate in social activities.

On August 15, 1918, ** stepped on the train to the north and began his first trip away from home. He arrived in Beijing on the 19th and stayed at the Xiangxiang Hall in the Langman Hutong.

The next day, he went to visit Yang Changji and met Yang Changji and his daughter Yang Kaihui again. **I had contact with Yang Kaihui when I was in Hunan, but Yang Kaihui was still young at that time.

When they met again, Yang Kaihui was already a slim girl. Yang Changji asked Yang Kaihui to take *** around the city of Beijing, and Yang Kaihui readily agreed. She took *** through every street, visited the ancient Forbidden City, and also went to Jingshan and the White Pagoda.

**Looking at the vast and magnificent scenery, Yang Kaihui smiled when he looked at it. **Also because of Yang Kaihui's smile, the mood is more cheerful.

In the bustling metropolis of Beijing, in addition to dazzling scenes, there are also many hardships and helplessness. He soon realized how difficult it was to survive in a big city, and like a small fish in the sea, he often felt helpless.

At first, he lived with the janitor of Yang Changji's family, and later, he moved to the residence of Cai Hesen, Xiao Zisheng and others. The cold of the northern winter caught them off guard, and they spent all their money just to buy coal for heating.

As for one cotton coat per person, it is an unrealizable dream. In desperation, the eight of them bought two cotton coats, and when anyone went out, they put on the cotton coats, and the rest of the time they nested in the house to burn coal stoves to keep warm.

Among these eight people, ** is the busiest, and he is running around for Hunan students to go to France for work-study. Although he always wears a cotton coat, in the cold winter, this coat does not help at all, and he even has to eat chili peppers to keep warm.

Thanks to his efforts, more than 40 students from Hunan have come to Beijing, making it the province with the largest number of students going to Beijing in the country. Subsequently, Yang Changji assisted Cai Yuanpei to open a preparatory class for 60 people to study in France, and other Hunan students went to tutoring to prepare for going to France, only *** was in debt.

In order to make ends meet, ** urgently needed a job, and Yang Changji introduced him to the Peking University Library as an assistant. There, he met Li Dazhao.

On the campus of Peking University, Li Dazhao used to be just an ordinary poor student, responsible for sorting out newspapers and periodicals, cleaning, registering the names of borrowers, etc., with a monthly salary of eight yuan.

Although the work is trivial, *** cherishes the opportunity to work here very much, because you can read as much as you want. However, his Hunan accent made him looked down upon by others, and even once he asked his teacher Hu Shi a question, but Hu Shi arrogantly refused.

This experience deeply stimulated ***, he recalled: "I was in a humble position, and no one paid attention to me. One of my tasks was to register the names of the borrowers, but they didn't exist for me as a big living person.

Among these names, I saw the names of many famous leaders of the Enlightenment, with whom I tried to converse on political and cultural issues, but they were too busy to listen to the southern vernacular of a librarian. ”

Despite being humble, he has big dreams and ideals in his heart, and he constantly improves himself through reading and studying, paving a firm path for his future.

This perseverance was an important reason why he became a great leader.

However, not everyone ignores *** Among them, there is a person who respects and appreciates him very much, and that is Li Dazhao. As a professor and library director of Peking University, Li Dazhao does not have any shelves, and every time he comes to the library to check his work or borrow books, he will find time to talk with ***.

He will listen carefully to *** and some immature opinions, and will also put forward his own opinions, and the two can sometimes even talk for four or five hours. Different from others, Li Dazhao saw *** not only as an ordinary library assistant, but also as an outstanding leader among young and middle-aged students in Hunan.

In mid-to-late November 1918, Peking University successively held lectures in front of Tiananmen Square and ** Park, Li Dazhao wore a cotton robe, and made a speech on "The Victory of the Common People" with great vigour, he emphasized: "The ** revolution of 1917 is the precursor of the world revolution in the 20th century, and the trend of the world proletarian revolution can only be welcomed and irresisted. ”

Standing in the audience, I was deeply attracted by Li Dazhao's new Marxist viewpoint, especially when Li Dazhao said that "the future world must be a world of red flags", **I saw what he had been looking for about the future of China.

Li Dazhao's speech on March 12, 1919 encouraged him to go deep into the vast Chinese countryside and understand China's national conditions in a down-to-earth manner. ** Gave up the opportunity to go to France, chose this path, and wrote in the "Xiangjiang Review", "The problem of eating is the greatest, the power of the people's union is the strongest, don't be afraid of ghosts, don't be afraid of the dead, don't be afraid of bureaucrats, don't be afraid of warlords, don't be afraid of capitalists." ”

This sharp and concise remark summed up the theme of the May Fourth Movement and was highly praised by Li Dazhao. Li Dazhao said that "Xiangjiang Review" is the most weighty and insightful publication in the country, and recommended it in "New Youth."

With the support of Li Dazhao, I am very pleased and more determined to move forward. They echo each other from afar in the north and south, and move forward together towards a common goal.

At the end of 1919, ** came to Beijing again on behalf of the Xinmin Society to promote the revolutionary movement against Zhang Jingyao. He immediately approached Li Dazhao, who gave him a lot of advice and recommended some Chinese books on Marxism and the October Revolution.

After separating from Li Dazhao, he eagerly began to read these books, and by 1920 he had firmly established his belief in Marxism. During this period, ** developed a strong interest in **, and he found Li Dazhao many times to discuss the matter of going to Russia for work-study.

After returning to Changsha, he immediately set up a "work-study group to Russia", and he earnestly hoped that Chinese young people could go to the world's first socialist country to study, so as to transform the current decaying old China.

Li Dazhao Li Dazhao is the pioneer of the Chinese communist movement, he and Chen Duxiu founded the first communist group in Shanghai, ** Li Dazhao and Chen Duxiu secretly gathered in Shanghai to formally establish the early organization of the Communist Party of China, laying the foundation for the creation of the Communist Party of China.

At the beginning of 1927, Zhang Zuolin created a series of atrocities, and Li Dazhao, as the person in charge, was in danger of his life at any time. However, he ignored his life and death and insisted on leading the underground struggle in Beijing.

On April 6, due to the betrayal of traitors, Li Dazhao and other comrades**. The party organization quickly organized a rescue, however, the enemy still killed in advance. On April 28, more than 20 Communist Party members were escorted to the execution ground, and Li Dazhao was the first to walk on the gallows.

Li Dazhao, a brave and fearless revolutionary, before the founding ceremony of the People's Republic of China, he showed steadfastness in the face of death, he said, "Don't think that if you hang me, you will hang communism, we have cultivated many comrades, like the seeds of safflower, scattered all over the place." He shouted "Long live the Communist Party" and then died without hesitation at the age of 38.

Li Dazhao's sacrifice brought deep pain to ***. When the news reached Changsha, ** rarely lost his voice and wept bitterly. At the extraordinary meeting of the Communist Party of China on August 7, 1949, it was proposed to express a silent tribute to Li Dazhao and other comrades who had died.

Although Li Dazhao's life has ended, his ideals have not ended. In March 1949, ** returned to Beijing again, and at this time, his and Li Dazhao's ideals had been realized.

Li Dazhao's spirit and belief will always live in our hearts.
