Job Description:
Dr. E's lab at West Virginia University School of Medicine is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow who is very interested in building a research career in the field of neuroimmunology. Our research group aims to understand how the activation of the immune system affects the progression of neurological diseases, and is currently focused on two directions:
1) Elucidate cytokine-mediated signaling pathways that promote neuroinflammation.
2) to investigate the role of immune-glial interactions in brain recovery after ischemic stroke. We use transgenic mouse strains, in vivo disease models, advanced imaging techniques, flow cytometry, next-generation sequencing, and a variety of cellular assays to solve our scientific problems.

Highly motivated PhD graduates in immunology, neuroscience, or related research fields are welcome to apply.
