And Wang Jia of the Eastern Jin Dynasty said a more interesting point in his "Collected Memories", saying that the kiss was actually made by Dayu's father, Kun.

It is said that Emperor Yao ordered Kun to control the water, and Kun governed for nine years without any political achievements. (Of course, later generations know that Kun used the wrong method, he used blocking, and his son Dayu used sparse).
So Kun felt ashamed of Jiangdong's father, jumped down in the place of Yuyuan, and turned into a Xuanyu. Some people who have seen it call it "river spirit".
Later generations built a place to worship it, according to legend, as long as it jumps out of the water, it is nearly 100 feet long It will inevitably spew out a column of water, stirring up a thousand waves, and the sky will inevitably rain heavily at this time.
In the Han Dynasty, the Nanyue witch people, Shangjuan said that the sacred beast of the owl kiss could be built on the roof ridge to extinguish the fire and suppress the disaster, so there is the existence of today's "spine-swallowing beast" of the owl kiss.
