NIO has launched a total of 11 new facelifted models for the ES8, ES7, ES6, EC6, ET5, and ET5T, and the 11 models will maintain the starting sales of the old models**.
There was no press conference, or even a publicity map, and NIO's 11 new cars were put on the "table".
In the public information, it is clearly stated that the changes of NIO's new facelifted models will mainly focus on intelligence:"NIO's 2024 model will use the new ** computing platform ADAM, equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon*** cockpit chip.
This is also the main change of NIO's 2024 model, and the cockpit chip has been upgraded from 8155 to 8295. For ADAM, Li Bin introduced in detail at the 2023 NIO Technology Day that NIO uses 4 ORIN chips (1016TOPS): two for main control of intelligent driving, the third for group intelligence to verify route safety, and the fourth for redundant backup. NIO is also the only car company in the industry that has adopted 4Xorin chips.
Along with the upgrade of the intelligent driving system, there is also the launch of a new large language model, Nomi GPT. At the same time,NIO has decided to open the global NOP+ urban area pilot assistance function to all Banyan intelligent system users in the second quarter of this year.
In addition, the changes to the 11 facelifted models are very small, and most of them are focused on accessories such as car color, soft pillows, small tables, wheels and entertainment consoles.
For example, the NIO EC7 only adds 4 soft pillows as standard; NIO ES8 adds 4 standard soft pillows, "Moonlight Silver Car Color" and a multi-functional executive table. NIO ET5 adds optional N-BOX enhanced entertainment host; NIO ET5T has not changed (it has been on the market for less than half a year, and there are not many upgrades).
The three cars that have changed the most are the NIO ES7, NIO ES6, and NIO EC6. In addition to the new soft pillows, the NIO ES7 also adds heated rear seats, adopts a new directional lever, upgrades the size of the head-up display system to 16 inches, and has optional new colors, new wheels, and new entertainment hosts. WhileNIO ES6 and EC6 put forward a "new way to play" with remote upgrade battery life, NIO officially said that NIO ES6 and EC6 equipped with standard battery pack (75kWh) CLTC working condition range increased to 500km and 505km respectively, in the original calibrated range, NIO ES6 is 490km, EC6 is 450-505km.
This battery pack upgrade is applicable to 2023 models, but NIO has only upgraded the long-range range for the ES6 and EC6 models.

At the 2023 NIO Technology Day, NIO announced a series of self-developed "black technologies", which have not been experienced much from the current model replacement, such as self-developed intelligent driving chips, new battery packs, etc. At the ET7 in April, there may be more self-developed technological achievements on the board.
