Taitung, a historical term that carries countless memories of old Qingdao people, has become a past that will always stay in the memory, but those traces of the past and countless good memories will remain forever.

On April 23, 1994, ** agreed that Shandong Province would adjust the administrative division of Qingdao City, "abolish Taitung District, and merge its administrative area into Shibei District".

This *** has published many old Taitung's **, and every time the hair is braided, it will instantly arouse the emotion and heated discussions of countless old Qingdao. With the continuous development of urban construction, Taitung has also undergone great changes.

This year is the 28th year since the construction and disappearance of Taito District, and this *** has specially edited a number of commemorative articles**, and will use continuous lengths this month to commemorate the passing Taito District.

I also look back at those familiar street scenes with you again, and I don't know if it will evoke good memories of your ......This week's two articles** are selected from a group taken by the famous documentary photographer Wang Ting around 1990**, leaving many precious photos for the old Taitung 30 years ago.

At the intersection of Changchun Road and Weihai Road, passers-by stopped and watched an artist repairing a musical instrument.

On the Changchun Road in the past,"Shampoo room"Almost everywhere.

Qingdao scenery in front of the 15th Middle School.

At the intersection of Zhanhua Road and Linchangle Road, the building on the left is the current antique city.

Construction is underway on Changle Road, and pavement hardening and paving work is underway to create a better cultural market environment.

At the intersection of the southern end of Sangzi Road and Yan'an Road, there is a group of migrant workers who make a living from odd jobs, and behind them is the Laoshan compound, which is being demolished.

The Laoshan compound is being demolished, and every brick and tile here carries the memories and stories of history. Let's witness the changes of this city and look forward to new beauty.

The years have passed, and Sangzi Road still maintains its original style. Although the ground has been hardened, there has not been much change here. After all, those towering new buildings on either side and the old Nanshan Market are all products of the future.

I miss the old image of the Guokou Road compound, although it has been demolished, but for me, the old Taitung, I still regret that I have never seen its style. Later, after moving to Fushan, I took the No. 28 bus in front of that compound for several years, and every time I passed by, I would remember that good memory. "

Located at the southern end of Liaoning Road, the store of Jufulou Hotel on Shankou Road is adjacent to the historic old Taitung Post Office.

Starting from the Taitung Post and Telecommunications Bureau, follow the Taitung Road all the way and you will find that you have arrived at the starting point of Weihai Road Pedestrian Street.

At the intersection of Taitung 1st Road and Changxing Road, the old buildings of the past no longer exist, and the mainland tea house has become the last historical site to fall.

The Daguang Cinema was once a popular landmark in old Taitung.

In front of the billboard next to the ticket office of the Daguang Cinema, we often stopped to look at the posters when we were children, and those colorful pictures and vivid words seemed to bring us into a magical world.

In front of the Daguang Cinema on Taitung Road, except for the old Huamei Hotel, the building on the right has basically disappeared.

On the first road of Taitung, Suning Electric has settled in the old bungalow on the left, and the old building on the right is still standing.

The street located between Taitung 7th Road and Taitung 8th Road is called Renhe Road.

At the intersection of prosperity, Fengsheng Road and Dongchang Road converge, which is the heart of the city and the source of prosperity.

The main entrance of the Orthopedic Hospital is located on Dongchang Road.

At this unique intersection, Yan'an 3rd Road, Taitung 6th Road, and Xizhong 1st Road intersect, forming a busy and vibrant intersection.

Taitung 3rd Road Commercial Street is undergoing a seismic transformation, and soon, we will see a brand new commercial district!

Taitung 3rd Road was being renovated, and the Liqun Commercial Building had not yet started construction, and there were a number of Liqun stores on this street, most of which were department stores on the first floor and residential areas on the second floor.

At No. 116 Taitung 3rd Road, there is a place where I used to work, and that is the Second Department Store, which is known as the New 200, which is now renamed Qianchuan Department Store. I have personally experienced the opening of new stores here, and witnessed the division of the old and new 200 families and the change of the store name.

It's been a long time since I've been out of here, but I still have a deep affection for it.

The reconstruction of Taitung Third Road, Qingdao Orthopedic Hospital, the former Taitung District Hospital, and the medical institution in the hearts of the people of old Taitung, although the evaluation was average in the past, for me, who was born here, there is a deep emotional connection.

The origin of Hemingway Restaurant Group can be traced back to Hemingway Fishing Village on Taitung 1st Road.

There is a material ** company on the right side of Biaoshan Road, and then go forward to Taiqing Road.

At the intersection of Mingxia Road and Biaoshan Road, the old road sign "Mingxia Road" no longer exists on the opposite wall.

The small garden on Yan'an Road is now a paradise for the elderly. As a former Zhongjiawa person, I have deep feelings and unforgettable memories of old Taitung. As the years go by, we have witnessed the changes in this area.

Although the vanished Taito District has become an eternal bond in our hearts, although the wheel of history cannot be stopped, we still miss the bits and pieces of the old Taitung.

Although time flies and the world changes, those purest and most unforgettable memories are still clearly visible in my heart. Please look forward to the next part of "Thirty Years of Old Pictures of the East Side, Those Unforgettable Streets and Alleys".
