Secondly, we need to support the security transition in Somalia. The international community should support the Somali Federation** in consolidating the achievements of counter-terrorism and stability maintenance in the previous stage. It is necessary to support the security sector in strengthening capacity building and assuming more security responsibilities; Thirdly, we need to support the economic and social reconstruction of Somalia. China welcomes the recent launch of the Centenary Vision 2060 by the Somali Federation** and the formulation of key national development tasks. The United Nations Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNAMA) should mobilize international resources for the priority areas of development in Somalia and support the promotion of peace through development and the resolution of the root causes of the conflict in Somalia.
