First parallel and then series is to connect two or more single batteries into a unit in parallel by connecting the positive electrode to the positive electrode and the negative electrode to the negative electrode, and then connecting a plurality of such units in series to form a battery pack, the voltage of each parallel unit is equal to the voltage of a single battery, but the capacity has increased, and the total voltage of the module is the sum of the voltages of each unit.

At present, there are only two ways to connect electric vehicle battery packs on the market, and the only difference is the size and number of batteries.
