Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice on the quality of telecommunications services in the fourth quarter of 2023, introducing the quality of telecommunications services in the fourth quarter of 2023 from three aspects: key work of telecommunications services, complaints and appeals of telecommunications users, work requirements and service tips.

In the fourth quarter of 2023, 35 of the complaints of telecom users nationwide involved service disputes9%, and 46 complaints involving marketing, charges, and tariff disputes9%, and complaints related to network quality and information security accounted for 172%。

According to the notice, among the 175 Internet companies connected to the platform, 4 enterprises did not meet the relevant requirements for the timely handling of complaints, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has urged relevant enterprises to properly deal with the problems reported by users.

The four companies that did not handle complaints in a timely manner were:

Shanghai miHoYo Network Technology Co., Ltd.*** The main complaint product is "Genshin Impact", and the complaint handling rate is 393%;

Guangdong Great Wall Broadband Network Service***The main complaint product is "Guangdong Great Wall Broadband", and the complaint handling rate is 774%;

Beijing Ziru Information Technology Co., Ltd.'s main complaint product is "Ziru", and the timely complaint handling rate is 852%;

The main complaint product of Shanghai Luji Technology Co., Ltd. is "Tongcheng Finance", and the timely complaint handling rate is 866%。

In addition, in the fourth quarter of 2023, 51 of the valid complaints about bad mobile apps were related to cybersecurity issues1%, and complaints related to personal information and rights accounted for 265%, and complaints related to information security issues accounted for 224%。Through industry self-discipline, the Internet Society of China, together with app stores and security testing vendors, removed 67 problematic mobile phone apps from the shelves.
