When I went home for the Chinese New Year this year, I found that most of the shops in the village were stationery stores and clothing stores in the past, except for catering, and there were only a few old restaurants that had been open for many years, but now they are rows and rows of restaurants. In the past, I thought that in just a small village, no one would spend so many shops to open them, and the rent pressure was also there.
But seeing that there are more and more restaurants in the village, and many shops need to queue up during the Chinese New Year. I realized that my idea was wrong, in the past, the soybean milk in the village was set up in stalls, and it was basically gone after eight o'clock in the morning, but now it is not only sold all day, but also night soy milk, and during the Chinese New Year, even this small soy milk shop is queuing.
Is the consumption power in the village so high? After staying in the village for almost ten days, I found that now not only are there many mom-and-pop shops, but also many brands have entered, especially milk tea, there used to be only one milk tea shop, or husband and wife stalls, and now there are seven or eight milk tea shops on the whole street, and several of them are some well-known chain brand stores.
And near a vegetable market in the village, there is actually a chain dumpling restaurant, which surprised me even more, our village used to not eat dumplings much, there are dumplings and only fried ones, the first time I ate dumplings was in high school, when I went to the county seat, I ate it. And now there is a dumpling shop specializing in dumplings, and it is still a relatively well-known chain dumpling shop.
In the past, many catering colleagues were talking about the development of rural areas, and the most worrying point was not only the consumption power of rural areas, but also the problem of rural eating habits. Compared with big cities like Guangzhou and Shenzhen, the inclusiveness of catering is undoubted, and for rural areas, most of the consumer groups are people who have lived in the local area for many years, and the taste is basically like that, so it can be said that it is very difficult for them to try new things.
But now it is different, and now there will be a problem, that is, when many post-90s generations also start a family and start a child, their inclusiveness in big cities has also been brought to the countryside, and it has also radiated to the people around them, they are more willing to try new things, and more importantly, they don't like to cook, so the demand for food is gradually increasing.
So now we will slowly find that many catering brands have begun to seize the rural market, and even a street in our village has been full of restaurants. It is estimated that the catering in the village is also very volatile this year, what do you say?
