The Jingjiang Palace, hidden deep in the mountains and rivers of Guilin, has witnessed the tortuous fate of the royal family of the Ming Dynasty. From Zhu Wenzheng, the nephew of Zhu Yuanzhang in the troubled times of the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty, he once defended Hongdu with great military exploits and made great contributions to the establishment of the Ming Dynasty. However, after becoming famous, he angered Zhu Yuanzhang because of his momentary pride and gaffe, and finally ended up under house arrest. 
But history is always fair, and while Zhu Yuanzhang punished Zhu Wenzheng, he also remembered his exploits. So, in the third year of Hongwu, Zhu Wenzheng's son Zhu Shouqian was named the first generation of Jingjiang King, opened the legendary course of Jingjiang King It is rumored that the location of the palace benefited from Liu Bowen's guidance, relying on Duxiu Peak and Crescent River as the belt, forming a feng shui treasure. 
However, even the Jingjiang royal family, which is sitting on the dragon vein, cannot escape the tricks of fate. Zhu Shouqian was cut down because of his lack of virtue, and the subsequent princes turned to the gods and Buddhas to protect themselves under the strict vassal policy of the Ming Dynasty. Among them, Zhu Zuojing, the third generation of Jingjiang king, found a cave under Duxiu Peak, and worshiped the gods here to pray for the safety of the family. 
This cave not only became the spiritual sustenance of the Jingjiang Palace, but also inadvertently promoted the development of Guilin's cliff carving art. Zhu Zuojing carved auspicious talismans and sixty Jiazi Tai Sui on the cave wall, these stone carvings are not only exquisite, but also contain profound cultural connotations. 
Now, when we walk into the Jingjiang Palace, through the dormitory, we can see the majestic and upright Duxiu Peak. The cliff carvings on the mountain have witnessed the vicissitudes of history and also demonstrated the charm of ancient Chinese calligraphy art. Among them, the famous sentence "Guilin's landscape is the best in the world" has become Guilin's cultural business card. 
Standing at the foot of Duxiu Peak and looking back at the history of Jingjiang Palace, we can't help but feel emotional. Those princes, nobles, and scholars have long since turned into the dust of history, but their cultural contributions have forever remained between this landscape and the mountains. The old Wang Xie has scattered the singing and dancing venues, but future generations will still come to look at this once prosperous place.
