After four years of the Chu-Han War, Liu Bang finally defeated Xiang Yu and once again established a unified feudal dynasty, known as the Western Han Dynasty.

At first, Liu Bang's strength was smaller than Xiang Yu's, why was he able to defeat the powerful Xiang Yu in just four years? After analysis, there are four main reasons.

First, Liu Bang can skillfully use strategy and tactics, he does not fight with Xiang Yu by force, but fights wits. Liu Bang is good at employing people, and can unite all the forces that oppose Xiang Yu in various places, so that there are virtuous ministers (Xiao He), good ministers (Zhang Liang), etc., and commanders (Han Xin) in battle.

Second, Liu Bang had a stable Guanzhong as the rear, providing sufficient food and soldiers, so that the war at the front could be continuously replenished.

Third, Xiang Yu is brave and unscrupulous, lacks foresight, and is unwilling to listen to the opinions of his subordinates. Some capable people such as Chen Ping, Han Xin, and Yingbu all left him and joined the king of Han, and even the only adviser Fan Zeng left under his suspicion, causing everyone to rebel and leave their relatives, and ended up besieged and killed Wujiang.

Fourth, although Xiang Yu's rear is large, but the lack of management, resulting in many contradictions, open and secret fighting, Xiang Yu alone expedition, military consumption can not be replenished.

In the end, Liu Bang defeated Xiang Yu, who was weak, by his own two advantages.

In 202 BC, Liu Bang was proclaimed emperor, known as Han Gaozu in history. In the fifth year after the Qin Dynasty, China once again entered a unified feudal society.
