The strong Han and Tang Dynasty will always be the pride of the Chinese nation, but for the Tang Dynasty, in the eyes of many people, the Tang Dynasty seems to be over after the Anshi Rebellion.

Huichang Zhongxing was the reign of Tang Wuzong.

Tang Wuzong (July 1, 814, April 22, 846), whose real name was Li Han, later changed his name to Yan. The fifth son of Tang Muzong, the younger brother of Tang Wenzong. Feng Yingwang, the accumulation of the opening of the palace with the three divisions, the inspection of the school officials and the book. In the first month of 840, Wenzong was seriously ill, Qiu Shiliang and Yu Hongzhi abolished the crown prince and appointed Li Han as the emperor's younger brother. In the same month, Wenzong died, Li Han ascended the throne, and the following year it was changed to Huichang. During the reign of Tang Wuzong, Li Deyu was appointed as the prime minister, and some reforms were made to the maladministration in the late Tang Dynasty. Wuzong believed in Taoism and forbade religions other than Taoism, such as Buddhism and Nestorianism. In the fifth year of Huichang, he ordered the demolition of Buddhist temples and confiscated a large amount of temple land. Therefore, in the history of Buddhism, it is listed as one of the monarchs with the title of Wuzi in the Three Martial Arts, also known as the Huichang Buddha. Due to the success of destroying the Buddha, the tax source of the Tang Dynasty was expanded and the centralization of power was consolidated.

This period of relatively stable period in the middle and late Tang Dynasty was known as "Huichang Zhongxing" in history.

After the center of Huichang, there was the "temporary rule of Dazhong", and finally the decline and fragmentation of the Tang Dynasty. Compared with the five dynasties after the Tang Dynasty that stay in the impression of many people, the time of the middle and late Tang Dynasty is probably not shorter than the time of the Five Dynasties. The five dynasties were only 73 years, i.e. 907 and 979.

It was during the period from Huichang Zhongxing to the end of the Five Dynasties and the beginning of the Song Dynasty that Kaiyuan Tongbao has always been the main currency of the country. However, due to the long-term stability of the political situation, the national finances have not been greatly improved, and the casting of Kaiyuan Tongbao in this period is relatively rough, and there are few fine ones. There are many Kaiyuan Tongbao in the back moon category, including one month, February, March, and various oblique moons. And perhaps because the casting process is not high, there are many shifts and mistakes, and there are many small Kaiyuan and flowing copper Kaiyuan, especially the font is not standardized enough and there is no calligraphy beauty of the early Kaiyuan Tongbao, so most of the Kaiyuan Tongbao in this period has not attracted much attention in the ancient coin collection industry.

However, one of the editions is because of the small amount of existence, the scarcity is expensive, and because the overall value of Kaiyuan Tongbao has risen recently, ** has been far away from other ordinary Kaiyuan Tongbao.

This is the Kaiyuan Tongbao Xiaoping medium-sized back superstar from the middle and late Tang Dynasty to the early Five Dynasties.

This Kaiyuan Tongbao in my hand should be due to the wrong reason, forming a "back one and a half stars", the front of the word "Tong" is deformed, and there are several places at the bottom of the chapter to form a small star-like surface pattern. According to the traditional version, the dating method should only be defined as a dorsal superstar.
