Roemheld RHI-S030 Series Oscillating Clamps
RHI-S030 Oscillating Clamp Application without Oscillating Stroke.
Hydraulic slewing grips are used to clamp workpieces when it is necessary to keep the clamping area free of straps and clamping parts for unrestricted workpiece loading and unloading. With this version without axial oscillating stroke, the clamping arm can be swivelled in one stage, allowing the clamping of ribs or grooves that are only slightly higher than the clamping arm. With an enhanced slewing mechanism, these slewing grips are particularly suitable for:
Fully automated manufacturing system with short cycle times.
The fixture of the mold is replaced by the handling system.
Transmission lines. Test systems for motors, gears and shafts.
Double clamping arms by using multiple clamps
Function. In order to clamp the narrow grooves, the piston must not produce any axial movement when the clamping arm rotates. As a result, the "oscillating" and "clamping" functions are precisely separated by two pistons.
Radial anti-rotation device in the clamping stroke.
With the rotary clamping device, the workpiece can also be machined upside down. If the clamping pressure drops suddenly, the radial anti-rotation device prevents the clamping arm from rotating backwards. Then the workpiece is no longer clamped, but does not fall.
Double clamping arms. This makes it possible to clamp the workpiece space-saving in multiple fixtures.
The clamping force at each clamping point is exactly half the piston pulling force.
Piston rods with swing eyes and fork heads are provided so that the most suitable double clamping arms can be installed.
