CCTV *** Buy New Year's goods, in addition to supermarkets, bazaars, wholesale markets, you can also be on the train. In Guizhou, the 5639 5640 trains between Guiyang and Yuping have been running for more than 20 years, making it convenient for villagers to travel at more than 10 small stations along the way.
This "slow train" is a "happiness express" for villagers to visit relatives and friends, and it is also a "rich express" that sends agricultural products from the mountains to be sold outside the mountains. As the Chinese New Year approaches, the special agricultural products carriage on the train becomes lively, and the villagers take their New Year's goods on the train to sell, and the carriage is full of joy.
On January 26, at the six chicken railway stations of the Shanghai-Kunming Railway, villagers were waiting for the 5,640 train to enter the station, ready to take vegetables and New Year's goods on the train to sell. Before the Spring Festival, in order to facilitate the majority of passengers to buy New Year's goods on the car, the Guiyang passenger depot set up a New Year's goods market in the carriage, inviting villagers along the line to bring their own chickens, eggs, smoked sausages, bacon, as well as fruits and vegetables to the train to sell to passengers on the spot.
It is understood that the 5639 5640 train was opened in 1997, with a distance of 337 kilometers and a one-way operation of about 7 hours, stopping at 16 stations along the way. It travels back and forth between Guiyang and Yuping, passing through Kaili in southeast Guizhou, and strings together hundreds of Miao Township Dong villages along the way.
Although the average speed of the train is only more than 40 kilometers per hour, the low fares and many stops have allowed the villagers to "get out" of the mountains and increase their income.
The Spring Festival is approaching, and the carriages of the train are newly decorated. The railway department also invited calligraphy enthusiasts to write Spring Festival couplets and send blessings to passengers, sending New Year blessings to everyone.
