On February 5, the reporter learned that China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CAERI) Suzhou Yangcheng Peninsula Intelligent Network Test Base was officially launched recently. The test base is the only dedicated test site for intelligent networked vehicles built by CAERI in the Yangtze River Delta region, including 13 test functional areas and 7 laboratories, which can realize all-weather scene construction, global digital networking, and dynamic and controllable test process.
It is reported that the test base is a future-oriented high-standard intelligent network test site jointly built by Jiangsu Suzhou Industrial Park and China Automotive Research Institute. The base will serve relevant enterprises in the field of intelligent driving to carry out standard and regulatory tests, access tests and R&D tests, help enterprises quickly achieve product development and acceptance, and enhance market competitiveness.
At the same time, in order to further promote the implementation of vehicle-road integrated intelligent networked vehicles, CAERI has also established an intelligent driving and active safety evaluation technology innovation center in Suzhou. The Innovation Center will carry out five key tasks and launch the industry's first intelligent safety certification system to continue to serve the upgrading of automotive technology and promote the high-quality development of the industry.
Li Lin, deputy director of the Intelligent Connected Intelligent Driving Evaluation Department of the China Automotive Research Institute and head of the Suzhou Yangcheng Peninsula Intelligent Connected Test Base, said that Suzhou has a convenient geographical location, a superior business environment and a complete industrial system. The test base opened this time has a wealth of test scenarios, which can provide high-quality and efficient intelligent driving vehicle testing services for enterprises in East China.
