Liu Bowen avoided this mountain, and it was important to save his life
From the source of human civilization, we can see the impact of geographical environment on the development of human society. Whether it is European civilization, Egyptian civilization, or ancient Babylonian civilization, as well as the Central Plains civilization chosen by our ancestors, they are all inseparable from the geographical location and the formation of rivers and lakes.
The development history of the Central Plains also proves that the succession of dynasties is closely related to the topography.
In ancient times, when science and technology were underdeveloped and the social and cultural level was relatively low, people often thought that many unexplained phenomena were arranged by providence. Therefore, the Han people, who are the descendants of the dragon, use the name of the dragon to name the terrain they see, as a way to express their awe and admiration.
This habit is not limited to the Central Plains culture, many ancient civilizations around the world have similar practices, and they named after their own understanding of the living environment. The term "dragon vein" is derived from traditional Chinese culture.
There is a saying that if a family lives in the land of the so-called "dragon veins", they will get good luck regardless of whether the family is wealthy or not. This stems from the way of labor under the natural economy of feudal society.
Living on a land with relatively abundant resources is a kind of capital for a family to open the road to wealth.
This start-up capital is like a dragon vein, which can bring wealth in prosperous times, and become the first pot of gold to recruit troops and horses in troubled times, providing financial support for the establishment of political power and dynasties.
This is what the ancients said about the dragon vein, and they found through feng shui that the lines formed by the mountains in the map of our country were similar to the shape of the dragon, so they called it the dragon vein. The corresponding mountain range is called the vein of the dragon, and the soil on the mountain is the body of the dragon, the stone is the bones of the dragon, and the grass and trees are the hair of the dragon.
The composition of the dragon vein is divided into roots, trunks, branches, and leaves. The origin of the mountain is considered to be the root of the dragon vein, while the main trunk mountain range forms the main dragon vein, the next ones are called branch dragon veins, and the smaller mountains are called leaf dragon veins.
Depending on the level of the dragon vein, the geological environment in the mountains varies greatly, which also affects the level of resources available to humans, thus forming different family groups.
From the history of all dynasties, we can see that the Qin Dynasty, the first great unified dynasty, originated in the Qinling Mountains and Huashan regions. The Tang Dynasty, as a peak period of cultural development in the Central Plains, originated in the Taihang Mountain area, while the Song Dynasty originated in the Fangshan area of present-day Beijing, which was known as the Jizhou area of Zhuojun in ancient times.
After the Ming Dynasty successfully overthrew the Yuan Dynasty, the new emperor Zhu Yuanzhang naturally focused his attention on the dragon vein. The establishment of every dynasty and every regime was accompanied by bloodshed, so every emperor sitting on the throne feared that his regime would be overthrown by other families and that his efforts would be in vain.
Zhu Yuanzhang is not exempt from vulgarity, and he is even more convinced of the dragon vein. Because his fortune was more difficult than in other dynasties, he was more deeply worried about internal and external troubles.
So, he sent his right-hand man Liu Bowen, known as Zhuge Liang, to explore the secrets of this dragon vein.
Liu Bowen's mission is to use his talents to find the dragon vein of the Zhu family of the Ming Dynasty, and according to the characteristics of the dragon vein, it will be used by the imperial court. If the dragon veins cannot be exploited, he must destroy them to prevent the enemy from using them to overthrow the Ming dynasty.
Therefore, he was ordered to embark on a journey to find the dragon, walking on the land of the Central Plains according to the "dragon hunting formula" of Feng Shui. Zhu Yuanzhang equipped him with logistics support troops and armed forces, hoping that he could collect all the dragon veins to the imperial court or destroy them.
Zhu Yuanzhang, who went from beggar to emperor in only 15 years, thought that spending another 10 years for Liu Bowen to cut off the dragon veins in the world could ensure the rule of his descendants. In the process of finding the dragon vein, Liu Bowen went through hardships, and even caused opposition in the imperial court.
Despite the difficulties, Liu Bowen persevered and finally found the various parts of the dragon vein.
Despite all the dangers he faced, Zhu Yuanzhang, as emperor, was determined to rule out all factors that could overthrow the throne. However, Liu Bowen and his subordinates were too exhausted to express their dissatisfaction directly to the emperor, so they had to find Liu Bowen's stubble.
Liu Bowen was physically and mentally exhausted, and asked to suspend the work of slaying the dragon veins so that he could continue after a short rest. However, Zhu Yuanzhang disagreed, he believed that cutting the dragon vein was like fighting a war, and it needed to be completed in one go, otherwise there would be a situation of demoralization.
Liu Bowen's trimming idea was rejected by Zhu Yuanzhang, and he embarked on the journey of slaying the dragon vein again with a helpless mood. On the final leg of the journey, a rare celestial phenomenon appeared, forcing him to retreat quickly.
Now, only the dragon veins in the area of Changbai Mountain in the northeast have not been cut off. However, when his team arrived at Changbai Mountain, it was a harsh winter, and the bitter cold of the northeast was like a thread hanging by a thread for the southern-born Ming soldiers.
This feeling of being cold to the bones makes people feel as if they have been quick-frozen.
When Liu Bowen found the main trunk of the dragon vein according to the dragon search trick and was about to cut it off, the clear sky suddenly drifted with goose feathers and heavy snow. This sudden snow made Liu Bowen feel a sense of foreboding in his heart, as if God was warning him that if he didn't stop, he might be punished by God.
For this reason, he quickly made a decision and led the soldiers to leave the dragon vein of Changbai Mountain. In order to save the lives of himself and the soldiers, he reached a tacit understanding with everyone and kept his mouth shut about the things in Changbai Mountain.
Zhu Yuanzhang believed that Liu Bowen cut off the dragon vein of Changbai Mountain, so that the Ming Dynasty was no longer troubled by the dragon vein, so he ruled more at ease. However, this dragon vein that allowed Liu Bowen to leave gave birth to the Later Jin regime of the Manchu Qing Dynasty more than two hundred years later, ending the Ming Dynasty and Zhu Yuanzhang's dream of inheritance.
