Let's explore a revolutionary veteran**, four of whom are young faces, in their prime, in their youth. Each of them, who later achieved remarkable results, even the worst of them was the first deputy commander of the Air Force.
So, who are these four young talents? Let's find out!
Let's look at the one on the left, the talented Xiao Hua, the youngest founding general, who was only 39 years old when he was ordained a general in 1955. Xiao Hua was the general of the Fourth Field Army, and he cooperated with Xiao Jinguang to bring out the First Corps, which is also known as the Second Xiao Corps.
Xiao Hua was an outstanding political general, in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Liu Yalou served as the commander of the Air Force, and he made it clear that he wanted Xiao Hua to serve as the political commissar of the Air Force. Although Xiao Hua was a little hesitant at first, because he knew that Liu Yalou had a big temper, known as Grandpa Lei, and was not very easy to cooperate.
However, Liu Yalou promised to let Xiao Hua let go of the political work of the Air Force, and he himself would not interfere, and Xiao Hua finally accepted the invitation. After serving in the Air Force for a few months, Xiao Hua was named and transferred to the General Political Department as deputy director and provided him with help.
So Xiao Hua left the Air Force and became the head of the General Political Department, and later he served as the director of the General Political Department and the political commissar of the Lanzhou Military Region. The second on the left is Deng Hua, who wears a military uniform.
Deng Hua was also a brilliant and rare Confucian general, who was only 45 years old when he was awarded the rank of general in 1955 and was in the midst of a period of great energy. This group photo was taken at the Summer Palace in Beijing, during the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea.
At that time, Deng Hua was the first deputy commander and first deputy political commissar of the Volunteer Army. One might ask, shouldn't Deng Hua be in North Korea? How could he be in Beijing? It turned out that Deng Hua returned to China to report to ***, and took this opportunity to get together with several old comrades-in-arms and take a group photo.
In 1953, Deng Hua became the commander and political commissar of the Volunteer Army, and after returning to China, he served as the first commander of the Shenyang Military Region, and was the first of the four to hold a major post in the military region.
The third from the left is his old subordinate Zeng Siyu, a founding lieutenant general. Zeng Siyu was appreciated by Deng Hua when he was in the Red Army, and later became the commander of the 64th Army of the Volunteer Army, and followed Deng Hua back to China to report to ***.
Zeng Siyu admired the superhuman memory, and after returning to China, he entered the Nanjing Military Academy to study, and after graduation, he was grabbed by Deng Hua and served as the chief of staff of the Shenyang Military Region. Zeng Siyu's military career was much smoother than that of his old chief, Deng Hua.
Zeng Siyu, who did not smoke or drink, died at the age of 102, the last of the four to die and the longest-lived. The one on the right is Wang Bingzhang, a native of Anyang, Henan, and one of the nine founding lieutenant generals who came out of Henan.
During the Liberation War, Deng Hua was the commander of the Northeast Field Army Column, Zeng Siyu was the commander of the North China Battlefield Column, and Wang Bingzhang was the commander of the Liu Deng Army Column. As mentioned earlier, Xiao Hua left after a brief stint in the Air Force, while Wang Bingzhang is a veteran of the Air Force.
In the early days of the Air Force, he served as Chief of Staff, and in 1953 he became the First Deputy Commander of the Air Force, a post he held until 1971, a position he held for 18 years. Why did these four generals take a group photo?
During the period of the Red Army, they were all generals of the ** Red Army and old comrades-in-arms. After one or two decades of bloody struggle, they were undoubtedly lucky to be able to survive after the founding of the People's Republic of China, and their comrades-in-arms were deep.
Among the four people, Xiao Hua once served as the main post of the headquarters, Deng Hua and Zeng Siyu both served as the main post of the large military region, and Wang Bingzhang has been in the deputy post for a long time, and his achievements are slightly inferior. In general, these two founding generals, the two founding lieutenant generals, are very powerful figures.
